    Hi, We mix chopped onion into the mash, veg wise, normally peas and sweetcorn. Plastic gravy from a tub as well :D
  • I normally do mash with carrots, peas, sweetcorn and green cabbage with gravy, sometimes onion gravy. . . m mmmmmmm

    I like brocolli with sausages. Potato, and swede mashed together, and green beans are nice.

    we have cabbage most often....red cabbage cooked with apples, brown suger, red wine vinegar and cloves, ?

    that sounds gorgeous. do you have the recipe for it as i wouldn't have a clue on qty's for this. not sure my family would eat it, but i could eat that for breakie sounds scrummy.

  • We usually have fried mushrooms and onions and green cabbage with ours. Yummy , satisfying and good comfort food ! However we would eat any veg with it , broccoli included (especially purple sprouting broccoli!).
