Hi, We mix chopped onion into the mash, veg wise, normally peas and sweetcorn. Plastic gravy from a tub as well

We usually have fried mushrooms and onions and green cabbage with ours. Yummy , satisfying and good comfort food ! However we would eat any veg with it , broccoli included (especially purple sprouting broccoli!).0
