Yes you could use sweetner instead of the caster sugar.... mmm I've not got my books so can't tell you how many syns it would save. I think 1 teaspoon is 1 syn (3 tsp = 1 tbsp ) so maybe 9 syns over the whole recipe. It's the biscuits where the syns are mostly spent... which is why I just have the topping with some chopped nana/mango/grapes.. whatever I have to hand.

Quark is also nice mixed with garlic and/or herbs for a nice topping on ryvitas, or sundried tomatoes could be nice. I have a readymade cucumber one which is lovely.

p.s. you don't talk too much. I think it's great as I get chance to see other peoples ideas and suggestions. So on behalf of me.. carry on x

Hi is Mix 2 Max still allowed?

I did SW years ago but now after having 2 DS I need to lose weight. I have been following the green, red and EE plans but whilst I love the flexibility of EE it is limiting on the HE's. But some meals I will have just a red or a green meal but I may struggle to do it for both lunch and dinner. Just wondered if anyone still did mix2max and whether Consultant31 could advise on the exact rules.

    TIA

Ive just looked up some of the other ainsley ones most are only 1/2 syn per pack the others listed are as follows

    citrus kick 1
    cracking cranberry 1.5
moroccan magic 1.5 (moroccan medley 1/2)

Sometime in the past 7 days or so, on here, someone said it was OK still to do Mix to Match. Personally, I've been trying out some Red and Green days this week but I am so accustomed to EE that at the end of each day i find I've only used one HEA and one HEB - blinkin' annoying. And by then I am too full to do anything about it. WI fr me tonight and nil by mouth after 3pm to see if it works :)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
