The mashed potato was yummy, just what the Dr ordered!! :rotfl: I made it with Quark (or Quaaark as susan called it
) with a sprinkling of dried rosemary. I've got 32 extra light laughing cow triangles to use up (they were on offer in Tesco 2 packs of 16 for £2) so will try that version next time.
dizzy, your fruit roulade & cream sounds gorgeous & I can't even say it's naughty but nice as it's not naughty if it's virtually sin-free. Hope you enjoy it. Any chance of a pic to make us all slobber??
The SW quiche will have to wait until tomorrow night as Hubby has come home from work wanting a BBQ tonight. I don't mind because it's a lovely day & it means I don't have to do any cooking :j Will have to think about what I can have though, maybe a couple of quorn cumberland sausages, I'm not really hungry after that mash
lynz, I didn't realise that about the Fry Lite, I think I might try the syn calculator for the Home Bargains one like dizzy suggested & if it's too high I'll definitely get the Fry Lite. Btw, Tesco definitely had the butter version of FL plus sunflower, stir fry, olive oil & one other that I can't remember.0 -

Just want to know if Baked beans, peas and sweetcorn are free on EE?
Thanks for any help
Everything that's free on either Red or Green is free on EE - everything. It's a super plan, just remember to have at least a third of your plate filled with superfree veg (that is only the veg that's free on both plans).
EnjoyI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

5 spray low-fat cooking spray2 portion aubergine, trimmed, sliced lengthwise into 4
3 clove garlic, sliced
800 g canned tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoon basil, fresh, torn
40 g onion(s), finely chopped
1 medium courgette, finely diced 150 g ricotta cheese
30 g parsley, fresh, chopped
2 tablespoon basil, fresh, chopped 3 tablespoon parmesan cheese, finely grated
1 medium egg(s), lightly beaten 1 pinch salt, and black pepper, freshly ground
Im on a green day ,
i dont have riccota cheese or parmasaen cheese
but i do have reduced fat chedder , feta and cottage cheese , its for baked aubergine rolls in a tomato and basil sauce
Ive only had one a and one b ,
not having any meat today either !!
I don't think it needs much tweaking. You can have 42gms of reduced fat cheddar or feta as a Healthy A. Cottage cheese (if vlf) would be free but it wouldn't have much flavour I imagine. You could syn the parmesan at 1½ per level tablespoon.
It sounds lovely, enjoy!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Has anyone made these tuna & sweetcorn fritters?
I am not a fan of tuna but im sure it would work just as well with peas, or extra onion or softened dryfried mushrooms?
http://www.slimmingworld.com/healthy_eating/recipe_tuna_sweetcorn.asp
Ive made traditional versions of this before with a standard flour batter and they go rather Crispy on the outside. Ive been known to have these on a roast dinner or even on thier own as a snack.
Bet they would be quite good for picnics toounless they go greasy?

Dear all - please ignore my post of a day or so ago about eating (me) vs not eating (everyone else) before weigh in. I don't usually eat any tea but I do continue to drink as per ... and last week I definitely had two hot drinks at home shortly before weigh in. And had put 1 lb on. I just got my mug, weighed it, then filled it with water and re-weighed. 9 ounces!!!! I'm lucky it was only a pound i'd put on!
In future I shall have a glass of water at 3-ish then NIL BY MOUTH until after 7.30:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
