    woohoo I lost 1pound :j
I really am suprised as its * week and my eating has been pretty erratic with my tum problem

got a nice recipe for fruit roulade 0.5 syn for the whole lot we sampled some.....it was very yummmmmmm.

If you wanted to use a few more syns you could get a tub of greek style ff yogurt and a satchet of the white choc option (dont know if youve tried doing that but for 2 syns it tastes like dream topping ! )

    1 tub Quark 4 eggs
1 Tsp Baking Powder 4 tbspn Sweetener
    Vanilla essenrence Fresh fruit

    Seperate the eggs

Add the yolks, half the quark, baking powder, sweetener & essence to a bowl and whisk together - set aside.

Whisk the egg whites until stiff. Whisk half into the mixture, then fold in the other half.

Using a swiss roll tin spray with frylight (line it with grease proof paper 1st so it doesnt stick) pour in the mixture & bake at 180 for 15-20 min. leave to cool.

Remove from tin when cool, spread the quark evenly, add finely chopped fruit. Roll from one end Slice to serve.

    Mmm, that sounds lovely Dizzy.

I made the couscous frittas for dinner tonight - I liked them very much but there was a big thumbs down from the children 'why did you have to mess up the couscous Mum?'. pearls before swine.
I think that a nice tomatoey/ratatouille type thing would go well with them.

I shall get on my scales first thing and log the change online - then I'm off for two weeks holiday so all bets are off. Will try and watch the booze as that is just pointless calories.
    Trying to keep in budget.

I eat normally except instead of having my supper/tea when I come in at six o'clock I take an apple or banana with me for after weigh-in (and order a tandoori mixed grill takeaway for my post-WI treat). I know a lot of our group don't eat during that day, but why? You'll eat later so the weight will be there next week.

I eat normally til lunch (well I say normal....nothings normal with my tum playing up at the mo  but I do get a bit crazy about drinking anything after about 4pm lol I was interested as I was lookin at the other site whe are theyre all on about eatinf fish all week, and there was a thread where they took a poll on whether they ate or not on WI day.

We have a chippy right opposite our group.....god its torture coming out of there starving hungry lol

I'm popping to the butchers today to get some sw friendly sausage meat which I've been told is also wheat free :D Haven't had anything like that since I started sw so really looking forward to making some scotch egg type things. A bit unsure about coating them with cornflakes but will give it a go :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone xx

If you use cornflakes to coat the scotch eggs you'll have to syn them, try these:-

Scan Bran Scotch Eggs (Syns: Free if using Scan Bran as a Healthy Extra)
    Syn-Free Sausages
    Eggs (Boiled)
    1 Egg (Beaten)
1 Scan Bran (crushed using a rolling pin!)

    1. Boil the eggs, allow to cool and then remove shells.
    2. Remove skins from sausages. Mould sausage meat into rounds and flatten.
    3. Coat each egg in sausage meat until completely covered, dip into beaten egg mix, and then roll into Scan Bran crumbs until coated.
    4. Place on a baking tray and cook at 180° for about 25 minutes.
    5. Serve hot or cold with salad.

Variations:Add 1 finely chopped onion to the sausage meat.
Add lean minced bacon to the sausage meat.
Add 1 level tbsp of tomato ketchup (1 syn) to the sausage meat.
Add curry powder, herbs or spices to the sausage meat.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
