I didn't have any as I was missing a couple of ingredients so had to add more cheese than I would have been allowed, but I'll definitely make it like that again. DD2 asked if there was any more

Just some peeled, cooled boiled eggs, split some sausages and remove the skin, wrap the sausage meat around the egg and roll in crushed scan bran/breadcrumbs/crushed cornflakes! and bake in the oven. Quite low syns depending on the sausages and really yummy.
I also think that pasta salads or rice salads are yummy and quite filling.
I've got my sw friendly sausagemeat from the butchersCan you tell me how long these need to cook for and at what temperature please? Can't wait to try them later.

Lynz - if you go down the "chickpea curry" line don't forget that dried chickpeas are waaaaay cheaper than buying them by the can. If you don't live near an Asian shop you could bulk buy from Ebay. Also use regular couscous rather than the ready made packets etc. I'm sure you know all this though. (I can remember my mum having dried peas soaking in a bowl to make mushy peas!). I'm trying to buy UK fruit and vegetables, ie in season. It's not always cheaper though. Another idea is to go green for a week or two, that way you can use lots of pasta, potatoes, chick peas and not feel hungry nor broke!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Had an end of term tea party today, we said 'goodbye' to 3 teachers, 1 retired, 1 left for personal reasons, 1 got another job. It was Pimms, strawberries, cream, scones and jam.
I was good and just had a scone & jam, the pimms was too stronge for me and I don't liike strawberries and cream.
So today I have mostly been eating:
B - weetabix , milk [a], coffee
L - mugshot, couscous fritta, 2 cherry toms, muller, fibre plus
Tea Party - scone [10.5], jam [.5]
T - mushy pea curry & rice [mushy peas x2, beans, mushrooms, onions, ff natural yog], spray oil [2] [hubby has made this hence the oil but its VERY hot
Snacks - melon, pineapple
Syns - 13
Fed up with the sw website, not excepting my password so can't keep up with my journey grrrrrrrrIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I eat normally except instead of having my supper/tea when I come in at six o'clock I take an apple or banana with me for after weigh-in (and order a tandoori mixed grill takeaway for my post-WI treat). I know a lot of our group don't eat during that day, but why? You'll eat later so the weight will be there next week.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
