    I lost 3lbs this week.

I am wondering tho if its worth trying a few Red and Green days this week. Been doing EE and have stuck 100% to plan an done lots of exercise....usually this would be a 5 or 6 pound loss???

Or maybe its cause I am older!!

Nice weight loses - well done.

I'm feeling cross with myself as yesterday was a disaster. As well as generally not eating any veg ( did have fruit though), I scoffed, really, 2 flakes in one sitting and had chips at the swimming pool (they have a little cafe).

It's really not good enough and I feel disappointed in myself.

Think I will not weigh myself until after my holiday even though I should do so tomorrow.
    Trying to keep in budget.

here i am with my pearls of wisdom (no laughing now)

if you've eaten stuff you shouldnt, draw a line under it and move on,don't beat yourself up about it,your friends will still love you, your dog will still think your make up tastes great when he licks your face, don't feel bad about eating what you had to,and don't punish yourself. i would say the devil made you do it,but as i am a non believer i say Neville made me do it ;)

today is a new day, think of a positive and stick to it,and REWARD yourself for sticking to plan,me, i like melon thats at room temperature, its SO sweet! i scrape out the seeds and sit and eat at least half of 1!!! nom nom nom :D

    Two great losses well done!

My WI this morning I have done better than expected, all my winging of probably not losing anything (which I hadn't up until yesterday) and the official WI said a 1.5lb down :j so I am happy with that.

gien - It may be good to still WI. Seeing a slight increase does refocus me. You can pull back yesterday indescretion. But it is an individual thing. My WI's are up and down I seem to have a really good week then a rubbish one.... maybe that's my pattern.

Today is my birthday and I am out for lunch and dinner so I will try to keep to plan as much as possible so not posting a meal plan. I am aiming for a sts this week with meals out today and friends visiting this weekend so it will be more food and drinks out all weekend too. I really can't afford to put on this week.

It was my mini goal day today of being 13stone but I have not hit, I am 13.02. My next goal date of Thurs before Bank Hol and the goal is to be 12.06. 5 weeks to lose 10 lb. It won't be easy going by my track record but that week I will be getting my limbs out by the pool somewhere so I need to be strict with myself.

Good luck with todays plans everyone xx

Boo to chips. :( they always smell so nice tho dont they!

Great for everyone on the losses.

Just wanted to talk about budgeting and SW.

Im not finding my food budget cheap at all when doing this, and have let go " just buy what I need when I need" Shopping more regularly as fruit is going off quickly in this weather etc. Alpen lites more expensive than anyother cereal bar, leanest meat is the most expensive unless you find yellow-label, you get the picture.

Does anyone have any really good ideas for cheapieness here. I need to embark on some big budget crunching bringing the food budget right back down. Anyone got any clues/ guidance on how to spend less, I think im spending about 50pw here at the moment and thats mainly for me and Ive been growing some food as well! I havent bought potatoes or carrots for ages.

Look forward to hearing your ideas on the budget :) xx

i used to lc and ive found my food bills reducing

we dont eat anywhere near the same cheese butter and cream as we did but same amount of veg/salad and only a bit more fruit as kids and hub always have eaten it when i was lcing anyway
i find i dont use as much meat with SW even with doing EE also i dont eat many processed foods or cereal bars - i probably only have 1 alpen light a week - keep in my bag as an emergency snack and dont eat yoghurts everyday

also since my wine consumption has slowed to nothing - am on vodka these days - find thats also cheaper :D

    happy birthday trixietoes!!

Lynz - i get lots of frozen veggies so they're readily available for pasta or to add to tomato sauces. also a big fan of the whoops aisle in asda for any meat for the freezer. :) and big bags of cous cous, pasta etc for budget busting meals. I'm mostly green days as i find this a lot cheaper than red or e/e.

Wi last night and I lost 0.5lb taking me to 1.5 stone :T:T:T
I'm so chuffed - the last few weeks I have had a steady loss of either 0.5lb or 1lb which is great for me. Have another 7lbs to go to get to my target so I'm hoping things will continue as they are. When and if I get there I will consider losing another 7lbs which would make me 9 stone which i believe is just within the healthy weight for my height (5' 2").
I'm popping to the butchers today to get some sw friendly sausage meat which I've been told is also wheat free :D Haven't had anything like that since I started sw so really looking forward to making some scotch egg type things. A bit unsure about coating them with cornflakes but will give it a go :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone xx
