    i gave up caffeine and felt a million times better.... but guess what?? i am back on the stuff and its makin me feel crap. i drank almost 1 pint of diet cherry coke bout an hour ago, i've just suffered caffeine crash.... thank god for the fibre plus bar otherwise i would have ate biscuits too

    do you not like supermarket brand coke?? (not the value stuff - yuk)

    i can get 2ltr bottles in asda for 48p (normal cola, diet cola, cherry cola, zero cola and lemon/lime cola) and their version of dr pepper (no added sugar too) for 68p. Tastes ok for cheaper stuff IMO

    asdas is the only one i havent tried, The tesco one is foul as is the morrisons one. Might try the asda one though- another reason to move nearer an asda!

    well done to all you losers :)

    sorry to only post when it's negative but this is the only real support that i have.
    i have done nothing but eat today and although i have only had 2 syns for milk in my tea , i have eaten tonnes of free food,hardly any superfree and i wasn't hungry when i ate any of it :o

    i have eaten probably a kg of free yogurt (omg thats awful written down)
    and just stuffed in my face whatever i could find :mad:
    i just don't know how to stop myself
    i know there is nothing anyone can do to help i just need to get it off my chest (sorry)

    Today I have mostly been eating:

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee

    L - wm roll cheese [a] s/cream [.5], cherry toms, cous cous loaf, muller

    T - sw chips, cous cous loaf, roasted onion, beans, s/cream [.5]

    Snacks - pineapple, melon, wild plums, muller [forgot the meringue AGAIN, plan it in then forget it :mad:]

    Syns - 1

    Took fibre plus bar for morning snack but didn't feel the need so still in bag for tomorrow. Feeling a bit rough now, combination of tiredness & * week. Can't wait for hubby to get home as need my bed :(.
    Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • So I've tried my new tactic of eating more often today. It really does seem strange but hopefully it will work - after all it's certainly not doing MrsM any harm :p

    This is what I've had:
    Thursday (Red)
    Milk (HEA)
    07.30 - Banana, Strawberries, Mango, Melon, Yoghurt
    12.00 - Cheese (HEA), Mince and veg, Potato (HEB), Lemon curd yoghurt (3)
    17.00 - Lettuce, Ham, Cottage cheese (1), Beetroot, FF Vinaigrette
    21.00 - Sweet and sour pork (6), Stir fry veg pack, Activia 0% Yoghurt
    2 Alpen light (HEB) and extra fruit as snacks in between


    That should keep my boiler stoked ;) I've also used all my syns for food and not crisps or chocolate today. I won't do this every day but the s & s was more syns than I expected, so no treats tonight. To be honest I don't need anything so I would only have eaten them for the sake of it.

    Re the caffeine problem - I had horrendous withdrawal headaches when switching from full coffee to decaf. However I didn't suffer as badly when dropping the Diet Coke. I still have it but I buy the gold bottle which is caffeine free. Perhaps you could give this a try?

    Have some washing to do so going to sign off for the night. Take care all, K x

    I agree Morrisons coke/lemonade etc are JANK!!! I dont buy tesco's soft drinks as i always get these from Asda. IMO they are the best i have found from a supermarket. The sugary coke is a bit.. meh.. but the diet stuff's nice. We have always bought it in my house. And IMO their version of Dr Pepper is better than the real thing! My OH agrees too. :D

    What have your meals consisted of today? Everyone has off days (Me especially atm) I am the worlds worst for eating when im not hungry and i have many moments where i eat and eat and eat and eat and eat...

    Feel free to let it all out hun. We're all here to listen and help you :D

    This is how i feel today I have eaten

    punnet of blueberries & yog
    half punnet strawbs & yog
    tinned fruit HEB & yog
    Egg, beans, mushrooms bacon
    Egg fried rice with pepper, peas, mushrooms, onions etc bit of left over chicken, soy sauce
    Half a packet of biscuits :wall:
    Pizza wirth HEB for tonights tea

    Just about a green day??

    i will list what i have eaten in the order i have eaten it
    (might want to grab a cuppa lol)

    fat free onken blueberry yogurt mixed with fat free fromage frais
    sw quiche made with mushrooms and sweetcorn
    more ff blueberry yog
    2 babybel
    banana
    more quiche
    co op pitta with fry lighted mushrooms
    banana
    shape zero yogurt
    fibre plus bar
    whole pot ff vanilla yog (500g)
    sw quiche , mushrooms , broccoli , sw wedges
    4 cups tea


    that is a green day so used 1 HEA,2 HEB, 2 syns for milk in tea

    this is quite typical for me , it used to be all biscuits and cake :o

    this is the first day i haven't been rushing around doing stuff so i just haven't stopped.

    That 3 minute 30.5 syn choccie binge.....followed by half a bottle of gaviscon and a poorly tum/no toilet since has just cost me a 1.5 lb gain !!!! :(

    how harsh is that :mad: I hate fairies.....They are sooooo evil :o


    The gloves are off now tho.....Bring it on fairies.....you wont get me next time ;)

    The irony of it is.......my magic powders & dyno Rod soup have kicked in during the night, OH replaced the scales long enough for a WI before he left for work & I would have MAINTAINED if id been Dyno rodded last night :wall::o
