One of the best breakfasts I had there was a fried tortilla ( crispy)loaded with refried beans ( inc pork fat :eek) and fried or scrambled egg and tomatoes and chillies. Sounds wrong but its really lovely

    !

LOL.......YUP Had that:D....and some reallllly clear hot chilli sauce on the side

we're all inclusive and I do tend to hit the salad bar 1st at lunch (if we're at the hotel) and go for the rice salads and bit n peices then go for whatever hot meats & :odeep fried battered veg :obut I then cant resist a piece of bread and its the icecream there that gets me

Or its just nachos and guacamole with salsa taken to the poolside or beach with a plate of fruit......and the obligatory odd portion of chips with mayo just cos your a brit lol

In the evening its just whatever is spicy and not SW friendly maybe In a tortilla, or octopus (never thought Id say it but itsflipping yummy) BUT I do love the tomato n onion salad and the rice salads that they do so I suppose I do get a fair bit of free and superfree too.....but again its the dessert....I just gotta have one or2 :o

Drinks wont be too much of an issue for me cos Im not supposed to drink really I usually just have water with lime thru the day......tho I will partake in a couple of frozen margeritas at night as they are my ultimate poison when away!
  • Hello everyone,

Not been on for a while as not had internet , as a result of being without your kind help & support I am 1lb on. Which I suppose isn't too bad, but I am creaping upwards instead of down. So as of NOW I am back on plan.

House sitting at my mums this weekend ( well more like babysitting my 21 year old brother to make sure he has no parties :D ) & she will most probably be stocking up on all the things I like but aren't exactly sw friendly. May have to take some of my own supplies!

I will catch up with how eveyone is doing when lo is in bed tonight.
  • Thanks for the soup recipe will be trying that

I personally usually go for the full 15 but i am at target. Some days I come in under but its not very often

I do eat 50% superfree tho most days and I think this helps :)

Afternoon, made the Dyno Rod soup this morning - minus the parsnips and it is yummy. I blended it though as i prefer my soup not as chunky.
Before i got a chance to eat more than a few spoonfuls hubby needed me to drive him here, there and everywhere so i ended up grabbing a McDonalds as i was hank marvin by that point. Need to start shoving an alpen bar and some fruit in my bag so i dont get caught on the run.
My head now hurts i think possibly from all the crap in the McDonalds!

Going to have a coffee and hide the 20 odd Wispa bars hubby gave me:eek: They are short dated and our place is shut for a refurb so he wont be selling them:p

Well done to all the losers:T

You could have got the fruit bag at Mcds :D and a diet coke :D:p
Or the side salad :D Did I read that the chicken nuggets are only something like 6 syns?

Now where would the fun be in that? I will remember that if i need it though. Never gave it a thought as i've never eaten anything 'healthy' from McDonalds.

Sorry I haven't been here for a while, completely forgot!

I lost 2 last week and another 3 yesterday - so in 6 weeks I've lost 1 stone and 9lbs! Really happy about it, everyone is noticing the difference!

In addition- Im giving up diet coke ( again) spending over 20 quid a week on it at the mo and its eating into my savings. Yesterday was the first day of no diet coke ( usually a couple of litres minimum)

Am waiting for the headaches to start kicking in, im ok now but I think tonight it will hit me hard. Last time I gave up DC I started dying I swear lol from the caffiene withdrawal.

Good luck lynz, I gave up diet coke (and all drinks with aspartame) at Easter and feel sooo much better for it. I haven't struggled much after the first week. Only once have I fancied a can of DC on a boiling hot day and the water in the shop was boiling, but I didn't cave. quite proud of me really :D The Tesco fruit flavoured waters are lovely and are syn free.

    Well done all losers.

Can anyone check the syns of the harvester simply pasta with garlic bread please as I'm going there now?

    Thanks
