Hi there, welcome to the group
Just caught me before I set off. Its a recipe from consultant 31, It got re named by me as I was having trouble with my....ahem...bowelsand it worked wonders lol.
It tastes just like heinz veg soup too!!
The now re- named famous Dyno Rod soup
Speed food Soup (syn free on Green and EE)
1 can mixed bean salad
1 can green lentils (or handful of dried)
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 can baked beans
Handful of split lentils
2 large leeks
1 large onion
4 medium carrots
2 parsnips
1 each green, red and yellow peppers
2 vegetable stock cubes
Salt pepper
Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)
Chop all vegetables. Put them and everything else into a large pan, cover with water, bring to boil and simmer until vegetables are soft (about 30 mins). Once cooked, the soup can be left chunky or blended smooth.0 -

OK Im guessing you are doing EE? Is 1/3rd of what you are eating there superfree?
the crunch cream is 4 according to my booklet
are you using your milk for HEA
Not sure about the corner but am guessing its about 5 compared to the others ( you dont have to eat the jam bit?)
Therefore you are under syn value today! as long as everythng else is free or superfree?
Im guesing your chilli/bolognaise is free and using extra lean meat/quorn? Therefore is free?
My personal way of coping with it is:
a) try not to have high syn things in the house and only buy them as and when ( mixed results!):o
b) if Im going to have high syn things plan them into my day and try blimmin hard not to eat anything with syns in till after 3.30 ish. The longer I can wait without syns, the less syns Ill fancy as have somethng to look forward to.
I cant have biscuits in the house, I just devour the lot. I also try ( if im going that way) to buy lowish syn biscuits such as ginger nuts or jaffa cakes, so I can eat more. Coconut ring bisc and chocolate fingers are less ( 2 / 1.5ea) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Catch you all later, will post diary then. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning everyone,
Well done to everyone on the losses
I had a maintain lastnight which isn't great but I have given myself a good talking to and I'm going for a 100% week. The plan works for so many people, and I've obviously not been following it as I should be.
This morning I have a job application form to complete and then more job searches! Have a good day everyone, speak to you later!0 -
I had my final weigh in yesterday befoer going back to work today and I nearly reached my mini target. I had set myself a ridiculous challenge of losing one and a half stone before going back to school but I managed 1 stone 4 and a half instead so nearly there. I'm doubly pleased because I've never ever tried to lose weight in the holidays, quite the opposite actually! Have picked out my outfit for tomorrow and although it is a mishmash of size 22 trousers, size 20 blouse and size 18 cardigan, I'm fitting into stuff that I wouldn;t have fitted into before summer and I'm going to have a good route through the cupboard to see what other old treasures I can unearth!!
I also did finally look at my weight in the book. I'm still 10 and a half pounds heavier now than my ever previous highest weight (apart from when pergnant) which is still depressing but just another mini target. I have another 2 stone to go to be at my pre-pregnancy weight which will be the next target so it is just going to be little by little.
Oh I was also really pleased to have achieved not only slimmer of the week but slimmer of the month too!
Haven't had much of a chance to catch up recently but I can see from other people's signatures that there have been some nice losses sowell done to one and all.
Nuninge. x
well done! you're very different to the woman that signed in here with us a couple months ago,and I'm very proud of your achievements:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
