Hi ladies, what does anyone else count for a chicken kebab from the kebab shop? I'll not be having the pitta, well I will but my own from home which is my HEB and I'll have a bit of sauce too. I've only had 0.5 syns so far today so not bad!! Was supposed to be doing baked fish and SW chips but OH has had fish and chips at work and is going to the pub when he gets home then having a kebab so I am too!!!0

Personally - if it is a chicken kebab grilled on the coal grill, Id say no more than 3 really for basting oil. I never find them greasy cooked this way.
But chicken donner ( where they slice it off that pole) is pretty greasy so Id have no idea on that one! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Need to start shoving an alpen bar and some fruit in my bag so i dont get caught on the run.
Guns, I've started keeping a multipack of Velvet Crunch on the back seat of the car, knowing they are there for emergencies (4 syns) makes me stop that "let's find something to eat NOW" feeling when I'm out. I generally throw an apple or banana in my bag as well, in case I get caught hungry when I'm not actually in the car :rotfl: not that I'm piggy or anything :rotfl::jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

I'm experimentin'. I bought chicken livers the other day and have been thinking about chicken liver pate, which I adore when made the ...ahem ... proper way. But I've made some which, if shared between four, would be four syns each which I don't think is bad for a real treat.
I weighed out the butter that I wanted to put in and it was 32g, so am count 16 syns for that. I used some of the butter to soften the chopped garlic and also added some cinnamon, nutmeg, ground black pepper and a little ground cumin. This was because I left out the usual brandy and red wine. Then added the rest of the butter and the livers and cooked them until just cooked (in microwave but whatever way you want). Then I made up to how much butter there SHOULD be with Quaaaark and 2 sachets of butter buds (syns counted in the 16 for butter, as it is a quarter syn per sachet I think). Cooled, then zzzzzzed.
Mmmmmmmm. I've licked the spoon (a few times) and gone round the blender with my finger and it is delicious. Now waiting to see if it sets to the right consistency. I'm hoping it will be yummy on scanbran with some cucumber and beetroot, or watercress. Will report back.:p
The other thing is, looking for something completely unrelated to food today, I came across this blog http://englishkitchen.tumblr.com/page/1 the author is quite funny and her recipes and ideas, while not aimed at SW, could easily be used or adapted - one or two are a bit oily/buttery but we know how to get over that don't we? :A:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

This is machine 3 tbh but its really good....you'd be able to use it with just the one hand. Its by BULL BRAND and its like a box, you open it and the material bit is inside - just put the tobacco and filter in there then lick the paper and slide it to meet the tobacco and shut the lid.....the cig rolls itself - it can all be done with the one hand too. It only cost about a fiver I think from a little cheapy store that sold smoking stuff pipes tobacco lighters cigs etc
I know 12 WI's after tonight....scary
I sooooooo cant wait to go on hol tho tis just the best place ever
and the food OMGI can see me having to re start my weight loss journey right from the beginning :rotfl::rotfl:
My OH has one of those rollers. They are good (i dont smoke and even i can use it lol)
Even if you do have to start at the beginning again as long as you have had an A M A Z I N G time and enjoyed every mere morsel of foodTo be fair you probably wont gain as much as you think you will.

The WW yogs are free ( eg the dessert ones) but I think the ones with the layer of fruit in sauce are synned:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
