Aww dizzy, that doesn't seem too bad to me, surely it could have been a lot worse (it wold have been if I had a similar crap day!) Don't you normally only have around 10 syns a day anyway? If you work it out over the week I bet you aren't that much over.
I think you have done really really well just looking at your signature, one blip won't make much difference in the grand scheme of things :)

Yup I normally stick at 10 syns......I think thats why the 30+ seems so hideous  Its the only time I was glad Im not allowed to drive....I really wanted a cheesecake...and it wouldnt have been a SW one :rotfl: damn them fairies!!!!

Damage limitation today & Tomorrow, Ive got a mahoosive pan of Dyno Rod soup to cook before lunch.....so I'l be eating lots of that & plums to try flush out the fairy food ;)

Well done you by the way......buying a multipack of curly wurlys and only eating one !!! :T:T :D x

    Delurking briefly for this one.......

I always lose weight the week AFTER I have been good on a diet. One year I even lost weight Christmas week! Put a fair bit back on the week after though:rotfl:

So perhaps you are the same and the 4lb is due to the 'good' diet previously

(I can't help secretly hoping though that someone confirms your first thought that cake is slimming:rotfl:)

Im not an online member I go to group. But online members get access to all the same things.

the recipe archives are really good. and you can use syns online (all the ones already listed, and the calculator to work your own out.)

yes cat i thought that when i get back on the plan (today) i would have a good weight loss next week,my mum says its because i'm not thinking of food all the time and so therefore making myself eat when i should listen to my body, well i'm done with McD for a while,i ate it for breakfast one day last week and i almost yakked! (TMI?) so i'm going to try to stick to plan AND listen to my body,is that do-able?

    Hi Dizzy,

It says over "1,400 delicious recipes online & your interactive online food diary guiding you to successful weight loss" and I've looked through my mums online bit and couldn't find this anywhere?

  • Hi - I have just joined as an online member and the second level of membership at £65 includes a years subs to the magazine which means it is only £5 more than the basic level.
Everything is there to download and print including the food lists and the weekly sheet.
The syns online is brilliant - I used it to do my shopping the other day and had my ocado window open next to the syns window and could just cross reference! Fab!

I have had a couple of shaky days getting started - my psyche is such that as soon as my brain thins we are on a diet, all I can do is think about food! I have given myself a stern talking to and used to inspiration I have got from here and we are on the track today!:j

Dizzy - you had a blip - hey ho. Sounds like a very measured one, and today is another day as they say. :A we can't be angels all the time!

NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........

    Hi Susan

Last week sometime I posted about how I had been oversynning but it hadnt shown on the scales, was I judt lucky? 4 days in Spain has presented me with 4lbs gain.

I think if you carry on like this for another week or so, youll get a gain. Im sure. I was walking at least 10 miles a day while away, and must have burned a lot of cals= still a gain.

You can listen to your body- I listen to mine it usually says FEED ME! The more superfree you eat the hungrier you will be ( boiler stoking) that is my guess anyway. After all superfree doesnt keep you full for that long ( imo)

Todays menu chez LP is: ( EE)

Breakfast- having it now, HM butternut squash soup (SF) and a WM roll (HEB)
Lunch- veggie chilli and rice incoroprating peppers, onion, mushrooms etc ( all F, high SF)
Dinner- Chicken, roasted baby new (F) roast beetroot ( SF, 1syn oil) salad lettuce, radish, s.onion, pepper, grilled courgette

Got loads of F&V for cheap down my market, 10 peppers for £1, blueberries, pineapple, strawbs all 50p. :D So will be eating lots of that to get back to normal after my few days away in Breadland.

Will save some rice for Egg and veggie fried rice tomorrow as it was such a roaring success and good use of leftovers :money: :D

Hope everyone has a great day xx
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
