 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

    This Ive come to know...

I like the SAUCY SECRETS book (no thats not another excuse for your warped mind to go off on one Niandra :rotfl:)

Loads of syn free or very low syn from around the world.
I make a lot of my stir fry stuff from there and my pasta sauces or just ones to go with fish. Also some good dips in it.

Ooh now that sounds like my kind of book ;)

Well I bought some curly wurlys last night while doing the top-up fruit and veg shop and managed to eat just one and not go back for another :D

Food plan for today is -

    b - muller and 3 little plums
l - Left over pork & veg 'fried' rice with a big salad. Cherries, HD melon and an apple.
t - Prawn & lots of veg curry with boiled rice. Poppadoms (2syns each so will probably have 3 = 6 syns)
syns snacks - 1.5 sugars (1.5) Fibre Plus (Heb) Fig, apple and 28g piece of cheese for supper (Hea) If i can fit it in I will have one curly wurly (6) Total = 7.5 / 13.5

I was where you are not so long ago hun ( we were lucky and have got back together) and believe me my diet was the last thing I was concerned by. Someone in the shops even commented about my binge-fest trolley of loads of biscuits, crisps and the like :( I still ate them all though, sabotage mode.

No sign of fairies here I am absolutely 100% dediated after the few days away.

Am just getting myself sorted then will be heading over to get some more F&V as there is nothing in the house really atm. Will write up my food list shortly when I get back and have some food to actually eat lol.

    xxx

Morning Lovely Ladies :) Welcome Eveie

forgive me fellow SW'ers for I have synned break_diet.gif

I had a really bad day yesterday after the hospital and I lost my halo somewhere on the journey home angeldevil.gif I think the fairies may have stolen it

My syn list broke my cardinal rule of the 8pm curfew and included:

    2 x kit kat 11 syn
    1 x penguin wafer 4.5 syn
4 cubes cadbury caramel 8 syn
6 squares dairymilk bubbly 7 syn
    = 30.5 syn of crud doh.gifcry.gifcry.gif

Anyway Ive given myself a good talking to copon.gif Im just sooooo mad at myself for doing it.....Ive avoided the fairies all the way so far, until the hospital visit yesterday :( Its WI tomorrow too :o

    Food today:

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee

L - noodles, cauli, new pots, oxo gravy

T - Very small amount of mince [bits in the gravy really], carrot, onion, new pots, peas, oxo gravy

Snacks - muller, pineapple, melon, wild plums, meringue [2.5]

    Syns - 2.5

Poor hubby is shattered and gone to bed, bless him. Doing 2-10 tomorrow so can have a lay in.

Hello! Just looking at this and was expecting to see syns for the gravy......as you haven't counted any can I assume you mean gravy made with an oxo cube rather than the oxo gravy powder?

    Thanks x

Morning ladies, back at work today but still not feeling great, hopefully the doctor will give me something to sort me out this morning!!! WI tonight, if I haven't lost after having a much lower appetitie than normal I shall be sorely disappointed!! I'm having a green day today but not sure what tea will be as I forgot to get anything out of the freezer, I'll have to see what's in there that'll either defrost quickly or can be cooked from frozen when I get home from work. Here's my plan:

    Brekkie - Porridge (HEA&B), banana
lunch - chicken & mushroom pasta and sauce, tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot, yogurt, mixed berries (I might not be able to eat it all though!!)
    Tea - ?????
Snacks - may well not need them but I've got a nectarine and some plums.
  • Aww dizzy, that doesn't seem too bad to me, surely it could have been a lot worse (it wold have been if I had a similar crap day!) Don't you normally only have around 10 syns a day anyway? If you work it out over the week I bet you aren't that much over.
I think you have done really really well just looking at your signature, one blip won't make much difference in the grand scheme of things :)

dizzyk, i have to say that you're such an inspiration with everything you have been and are going through and facing life with an amazing attitude. the world would be a much better place if more people were like you. :) x

still on breakup diet, only managed half of that salad yesterday. I've got 3 clems and a youghurt and will see how i get on. i've got plans for tonight so i won't be able to make WI but will head over to boots at lunch for unofficial WI.

Aww thanku Hun....Im all embarrassed now lol :o x x

seriously tho....I reckon what is the point in being all miserable and 'woe is me' about whats happened to me? Its not gonna make it change ;) and Im just gonna end up bitter and twisted about it. Sure it was a bit hard to get to this way of thinking initially when I had the 1st tumour removed-and my strength and sense of humour was put to the test with the last op and its side effects lol :p

I think the only things getting to me at the mo are that Im not independant yet like I was....Im not allowed to drive because of my 'wobbly vision', I cant walk on my own yet (YET! but Im on a mission to prove them wrong) and I cant bloody hear conversations which drives me nuts! Oh and Im still fat LMAO :rotfl:

Hope you're feeling strong still hun.....things must still feel raw with the break up :( You posted yesterday that 'what if no one else wants you? I split from my ex husband when I was 36....Id been with him since I was 18 - I thought exactly the same. I went out with friends not looking for anyone (I swore Id never let anyone hurt me again so men were off limits lol) but times a great healer, I had a ball, had a laugh......and 2 years later met the lovely guy Im with now (6 weeks before my 1st brain surgery.....what an absolute star he has been :D) I was going through the most hideous nasty divorce while I was in hospital too!! so without him I dont think I would have coped with all this to be honest xx
