In one of the SW mags (i am not sure if it was the last issue) they reviewed fruit and fibre cereal. You have to have scan bran with these but the mag said you could enjoy F&F with either scan bran or 1 ryvita w/g crackerbread. I cannot eat scan bran without being sick (TMI) but i LOVE w/g crackerbreads so have these instead. My losses haven't been affectedbut i am not sure if this applies to other cereals....
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Thanks, I am following my first week's plan and I have been recommended to have 28g porridge oats with fruit and milk from allowance and one scan bran. I have ryvita in the house as I can't tolerate normal wheat. Unless I hear otherwise from someone else I will have my ryvita.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

It looks good to me, but what about your HEA? And what about your syns? I hope you have a treat planned at some point.
I am sure others will be able to advise you better than me, just some thoughts.
Liz
Ah yes HEa, one is always semi skimmed milk, which I use in tea....I haven't decided for the other one yet!
I haven't factored in any syns, other than some gravy. I might add a bit of flora light to my jacket spud. then later I may have either a packet of quavers/french fries, or an Asda fruit and grain bar:) both of which are about 5/6syns I think (I will check later)
A bit hit and miss today as shopping day is Monday and I am always low on everything by today:( I really need to meal plan from now onwards.
Question - Has anyone made the cheesecake from the new mag, is it nice or should I avoid it;)

Ooooh excellent, I was just looking back for the soup recipe and spotted this.:A I love pitta bread, is it the Asda own wholemeal ones and just 1 for a HE...also are they an option on all plans?

I have some questions today so far if anyone can help please -
1 - What do you do when you go away (visit friends, family, on holdiday etc) to make sure you stick to plan?
2 - Thinking of the above, is it possible to incorporate the Light Choices / WW fom Heinz ready meals into the plan for short periods (up to a week at a time) to make it easy when away from home as these options are often sold in a nearby supermarket.
3 - What do you do if you go out to eat on the spur of the moment and dont have chance to save up Syns all week?
4 - When you save your leftover meals into portions to freeze as ready meals for another day what containers do you use? Also how do you reheat them, by microwave or oven and from frozen or defrosted ??
5 - What's the difference between a Slow Cooker and the JML Star Cheff Delux ? (http://www.jmldirect.com/product.asp?pf_id=S8888&changecurrency=GBP). Sorry NOT advertising I just wondered if it would be any good to get one for SW recipies or just use my unused new Slow Cooker (which I dont understand at the moment either lol).
Thanks for the help hope you're all having a good bank hol weekend
1. If Im going away self catering im pretty much the same as Pixie....I just buy in all my cooked brekkie stuff and a box of weetabix then Im set up with a good belly full before we go out
We eat out for the other meals tho (thats what hols are for) and I just make sensible choices where I can....but its my holiday-so Im going to enjoy it!!!! (when I go to Mexico at Xmas I fully intend getting my moneys worth out of the all inclusive and there will be more than a few flexi days out of the four weeks I would have thought LMAO:rotfl:)
Going for a night out or to stay over at friends I would just do flexible days, eat SW meals up to the planned event- plan ahead what Im going to be allowing myself to have without going stupid then the next day Im straight back on the plan (that way I dont feel Ive blown the diet in anyway and there is no guilt feelings)....I never save up syns 'I use them or lose them'.
2. Ive got loads of different tubs for freezing things in. some are 'proper tupperware' (courtesy of my mum lol) others are cheapy ones from asda that work just as well. I just defrost In the micro and then heat up in the micro....simples
Aint got a clue about the last question as Ive not got a slow cooker or whatever that other thingy is0 -
Another question please:o Is cauli, Broccolli, carrot and onion all free on red...and are they superfree, so could I use them on an EE day?

Thanks all for the answers so far. What I meant by going away is going to stay with Mum for a week or weekend. She has no computer so couldnt look stuff up and I wont really have the time to plan while I am there (hence the idea of picking up a basket full of ready meals when I arrive). I have to travel by train for 3 - 4 hrs so cant take a box full with me.Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.

Morning ladies, I'm still not quite 100% but much better than I have been. I ate my tea in 2 shifts last night as I only managed half of it first time around so microwaved my leftovers for supper...can't say I enjoyed it much though. I'm at my Mum's today and it's blowing a gale here in N.Lincolnshire!! I'm sat in her conservatory at the minute and it feels like I may well be doing a doroty and flying over a rainbow any minute!!!
I'm attempting a red day today:
Brekkie - banana and fromage frais
Lunch - salad, tuna or ham, jacket or bread (HEB), salad cream (1), yogurt
Tea - roast beef, veggies, new potatoes (HEB), gravy (3), jelly, fruit.
HEA is milk in tea....as I'm at mum's we'll probably have enough tea to use 2 HEAs!!!
We may well have yorkie puds with tea too as my bro has just started making them and he's brilliant at it...clever little sod (I say little, he's 25!). I have enought syns to have 1 if we do.
I'm going to try a walk this afternoon, probably about 3 miles which isn't far for me, hopefully it won't make me feel rubbish again. Tomorrow I'm going out for the day with mum to Doddington Hall near lincoln, they have a farm shop so we'll be having lunch there, hopefully they'll do salads or jacket potatoes.0 -

Yes, they are all free on red and are also superfree. The only veg that aren't free on red and also the only ones that aren't superfree (as superfree has to be free on both plans) are pes, sweetcorn and potatoes.0 -
