Jill36, sounds like the right decision. Did you say it was a long way away too? Hope being offered it has given you a bit of a boost at least.

Today has gone a [STRIKE]bit[/STRIKE] very wrong.
Kids wanted to go to the play park, which usually means we get a picnic from the co-op nearby. Chose a "healthier choice" sandwich and some strawberries, a muller vanilla with chocolate sprinkles (can those really be free? Lovely). But then I ate two white chocolate cookies and the slide continued when I got home. Scone and some dairy milk.
 with myself. The plan for this evening has changed too, we are now going to have curry as I have made a gigantic pot of it to freeze in portions and it smells so good. OH bought some onion bhajis the other day which have been sat in the fridge since then (I almost wonder if he did as a test of my will!) and I suspect they will be coming out tonight too. With syn free raita, low syn curry and plain boiled rice I guess it isn't so bad, but almost dare not look at the syn value.
    What an idiot.
Tomorrow is another day etc etc but feeling a bit blue.

dont beat yourself up over one night of the food fairies wrecking your good work :o did you realllllly pig out....or could you maybe count it as a flexible day and just start as you have with a fresh head.

I really dont think I could ban myself from ALL syns for so long :undecided Id be more likely feel like I was in a straight jacket and cave in again :o maybe if you just halve your syns until WI ? they do say that its not good for your weight loss to not have any syns at all ;)

keep coming on here..... its kept me on my mission to fight the food fairies :rotfl:

:rotfl:Ooooooops, I was just catching up and saw this post:p It quite clearly wasn't me, looks like ds3 attacked the lappy when I forgot to shut the lid:o

Well today was supposed to be green and I did well until dinner this evening.

    I had
    B - scrambled egg, beans
    L - Quorn curry, couscous

then instead of pasta arrabiata I ended up adding 5 meatballs:cool: I had made them for everyone else and was supposed to save my portion for lunch tomorrow but they were too yum to resist.

Can beef mince be an option for a heb on a green day?

LOL I thought you were just having a bad food day when I saw that post earlier :rotfl:

    85 g raw lean mince = 1 HEB
If you're on green you can have 2 HEBs

Thanks for the mince info, that works out perfect as I haven't had any HEb's today, I'm pretty sure I had less than 170g:D

I have used 10syns today so I should stop there....although I am craving some choccy:(

you can have up to 15 syns tho so a bit of choccy might just take the edge off and save you having a mass binge later ;) x

    Evening all
Hope everyone is having a good weekend...

Well we had a walk around the 9 hole course this morning -only because the 18hole one was closed for a competition ..still -it all adds up I guess :p

Today has been an odd one as I have been really hungry at times but not sure what i wanted and I didn't want anything "carby"-anyway -it has ended up looking like this :-
    • banana -at silly o'clock
    • ham -when I got back to the car from the walk :p
    • Melon -when I got home
then I couldn't decide what I wanted so I ended up with the following all chopped up in a big bowl
    • prawns
    • cucumber
    • tomatoes
    • carrot
    • celery
    • gherkin
    • pickled beetroot
    • peppers
    • 1tsp sweet chilli sauce (1) -it was yummy in the end :D
    • 1 crunch corner yog (4)
    • 1 apple
    • salmon fillet
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)to stir fry:-
    • onions
    • spring onions
    • carrot
    • peppers
    • mushrooms
    • broccoli
So thats 5.5 syns -but non of my A+Bs - so in a moment I will be having :-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 1tsp camp (0.5)
    • 1 fibre plus bar
Corrrr that was long winded -but thats the kind of day I have had ....
Anyway -weigh day tomorrow although I feel rather bloated at the moment -not sure why, but hey ho -"what will be will be"....
At the moment hubby is waiting for his home made pizza to cool slightly -I made him some baguette dough again and it makes THE nicest pizza base ever *if I do say so myself*:heartpuls -strange thing is Im really not bothered by it anymore :j
ooohh hubby is away doing a green keeping course this week so Im considering cadging a lift (he passes camp) on a Mon/Wed/Fri so he can drop me off for the gym at 8am-ish and I can then work out and walk home and be done n dusted by 10am -NOW -this is if I can convince my head to leave the pillow THAT early in a morning . If I can then I think I might do the same when he goes to work too as it means I can work out 3 days nice n early and not be bothering to go out about 3pm and have to come home and start doing dinner. Lets see if this comes to fruition shall we ;).
Anyway -better get off and have my iced coffee :p
Sleep well everyone..and keep up the great work...
