  • EE meal plan for today:

    B - strawbs, banana with activia fat-free
L - pasta/3 cheese triangles (part HEA)/tuna/onion & spring onion/black pepper combo followed by pear
D - SW quiche (part HEA), potato wedges & tinned toms followed by clementine

Syns - salt & vinegar snack a jacks 5.5, Galaxy Bubbles bar 8.5
Snack - Kelloggs Fibre Plus (HEB)

I'm going to try adding 3 chopped cheese triangles to the quiche instead of grated cheese so I don't have to syn any cheese, hoping that works out as I'm allowed 6 of the extra-light laughing cow triangles as my HEA.

dizzy, I've started to follow your lead with having the HEB as a supper-time treat - good idea!! :D

    Afternoon all,

I went for a swim this morning, at a school not far from here. I heard from a colleague that the sports centre is open to the public and is really cheap to use. I got there expecting to have to hunt for a parking space but it was practically empty! the only people in the pool were me and some guy with his daughter!

I managed 40 minutes of swimming lengths (the pool is 25m) and had to give up after that as my arms were starting to protest and I had to drive home, I really enjoyed it though and feel worn out in a nice way.

I didn't have breakfast as I wasn't hungry on getting up, I had a bowl of weetabix and mullerlight just now though and will meet OH for coffee later on this afternoon.

Just need to decide on tea tonight now.....will have to dig out the old magazines for some inspiration.

    Have a great Saturday everyone!

  • Hi again,

Please could someone answer a couple of queries:

Are Asda fresh egg noodles free on EE?
Are ALL Muller Lites free (inc. indulgence)? on EE
Are Tyne brand tins still free?

We found an old Syns book at the bottom of a draw yesterday, we think its about 5 - 10 yrs old. Are the Syns values still the same? - this was obviously written for the Red & Green diets

    Thanks in advance,

Mullers are free - but not the cheesecake ones - or the ones with the fruit underlayer & choc sprinkles (but the choc sprinkle ones with no fruit bottom are free:D)

(not sure what other tyne brand you want checking....I never buy them so its the only one I could think of, but if you need anything else just ask :))
Basically the syn book you have will be WAY wrong now with a few things:eek:......you used to be able to eat corned beef freely.....now its synned, and up until just a couple of months ago morrisons eat smart sausages were free...now they are 1/2 syn each,

From how I understand it - if the packaging changes, then often the syn value does too :( so you need to just check if you notice anything.

Hope this helps a bit ;)
