  • Hey everyone and all the new peeps

It's been a good day for me, got some good news on the jobseeking front - a company are going to pay for me to take a course which will help me get into care work. It's based in Birmingham but I can get there by train and my travel expenses will be refunded too!

    Here is my EE menu

B - Bran flakes (HEB) milk (HEA)

L - Baked potato, beans and salad

D - Grilled mackerel, with spicy rice (made up with peppers, chilli, and garlic) Almost had crispy seaweed too, but we left it in the oven too long and nearly burned the house down! Oops!

Snacks - plums/strawberries/kiwi/ a rasberry muffin that I'm looking forward to later! I'll have those as my only syns today.tea/water

Well after an odd day yesterday (had day case hospital for a small gynae op so just took the day off slimming LOL) I have had a great day today

    Brekky weetabix x2
    milk (HEA)
    sugar (1syn)

Lunch chicken and ham (was late with brekky so not really hungry)

Tea h/m beef casserole with carrots and green beans (1 syn for the gravy granules)

    snack kitkat 5.5 syns

just about to watch some tv and then an early night I think as I have had an active day (cleaned cooker, washed kitchen floor moved dishwasher to garage etc etc)
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    i suck!!!!

i was doing so well but for whatever stupid reason i finished DS2 dinner (chips and fishcake from chippy :( ) i had been so good too i had even managed to resist icecream when the van came round, i bought the kids one but was a good girl!! so once again im really disapointed with myself...i really thought this attempt would be different but i really seem to be lacking to will power.

well i go shopping tomorrow so will have to stock up on plenty of free and superfree food that i can snack on. i ran out of yogurts a few days ago and honestly i think this has been a downfall as if i wanted to snack i would just grab one of those. tomorrow is a new day!!

well done everone else on being good :)

oh and the dyno rod soup....well it doesnt go through me but boy does it make me a little windy :) guess thats what happens when you have 2 bowls for lunch lol x

I have been doing this plan for just 2 days and weighed in on my wii tonight and have lost 2lbs since last week! It really helps to see a difference so soon. Today I missed breakfast, had jacket potato, salad and beans for lunch and am having egg chips and mushy peas for dinner.

A question though.....I had two small pieces of tiffin. I had never tried it before today and have no idea of syn value. I presume it will be all 15 or more for today :(

lolly I need some dyno rod soup.My meds are causing me a few problems.... say no more :D

10% of todays weight is a good first target I think.

:o Sorry for being so stupid but what is 10% of 11 stone 10 lb Please?

Also does anybody know anywhere I could find a discount code to join SW online please?

    Thanks :)

    11 stone x 14 pounds = 154 pounds
    + 10 lb = 164 pounds
    So 10% = 16.4 pounds is 10 %
So your first target weight is 147.6lb - your call whether you decide it is 147lb (10 stone 7lb) or 148lb (10 stone 8lb)!
This has got me to set my own first target, hadn't done that yet.

Advice please, anyone who has the Extra Easy cookbook: is the Extra Easy cookbook worth buying? I am a vegetarian (no meat or fish, but cheese and eggs ok), so do you think it would be worth it?
