Hi there HisnHers. I think most folk on here would say that your wife does need to do the two things you have identified - up her fluids and use some syns!
You'd really be better to go along to one class and at least you'd pick up all the latest books etc. Otherwise you can ask here or check out minimins for syn values.
Good luck!
Thanks we thought that could be the reason.Forgive our ignorance, but what is minimins? is it a website?

Right- I need some inspiration.
I have a 'budget' of 10 syns today. I want a hot choc tonight (Options Cracking Hazelnut= 1.5 syns according to SW website) so:
what should I spend my other 8.5 syns on?
Any exciting ideas?0 -

It's quite important to have as much water as possible (2½ litres a day is recommended).
You have only one HEA and one HEB each day (I'm sure you know that, but thought it worth a reminder) which must be weighed accurately.
Do have your syns, they are built into the plan and are there to make sure you can face a lifetime of eating like this - no-one could live with the thought that they must never have chocolate, wine etc ever again.
Look on the SW website for a free 7 day menu which will perhaps help you plan your meals.
Feel free to come back for advice as often as you like
Sorry, it seems I'm answering questions which have already been adequately answered - it's what comes of answering before I've finished reading
Thanks for the advice, We have tried a couple of things off the menu.
In the Extra Easy book, Muller Lite Yogurts are listed as free, Are all varieties free inc. the new indulgence cheesecake range?
Schwartz new range of mixed herbs/spices what Syn value are these - I guess they would be Syns as although they are dried they do have oil in them.
Thanks Hisnhers0 -
Thanks - Dizzy to the rescue once again!
So 10 lockets in a tube - 2 should be just over 1.5 syns right? They were the last two so I can't eat any more. . .otherwise I could devour a full tube.
Smile and the world smiles with you....and if the world won't then I will :A
