Advice please, anyone who has the Extra Easy cookbook: is the Extra Easy cookbook worth buying? I am a vegetarian (no meat or fish, but cheese and eggs ok), so do you think it would be worth it?
    Liz

Hi Liz, as I understand it, if you're veggie there's no point in you doing EE as the whole point is that you can have rice/pasta/potatoes and meat/fish at the same time without having to count/weigh one of them. You might as well do green days and have 1 or 2 HEA and 2 HEB.

I'm still feeling rubbish today. Last night I slept in socks and my winter pjyamas as I was freezing! I felt better this morning and went to meet my aunty and mum in town but I was only there 2 hours and have been shattered ever since!!! I've not got much appetite either, I was supposed to have a red day but struggled to fancy much for lunch so I swapped to green as the only thing I fancied was beans!!! Here's the plan:

    Brekkie - banana, melon
Snack - quater of a cheese scone (and I struggled to eat that much!!)
Lunch - small jacket potato, beans, cheese (HEA)
    Snack
Tea - pasta and bolognese (HEB)

My other HEA is milk in tea. For HEB I will see how much bolognese I eat, that might cover moth of them but if I don't eat much I'll try and have a fibre plus bar or something.

So much for my exercise filled weekend.....I'm fit for nothing but laying on the sofa!!!

    awww bum :mad::mad:

I Knew there was a reason I wanted to go to Morrison before Asda today!! ......We hardly ever go there - Asda is nearer, but he needed something from the shopping centre which meant we drove past Morrisons! rant2.gif

I wish my memory was as good at remembering what I need to do as it is at remembering how many syns I have left for chocolate lol

Thanks lisa, that has sorted that in my mind. I find green easiest but lots of people seem so keen on EE.
Hope you feel better soon, sounds like you need to treat yourself gently and get some rest!

Sorry.....I completely missed your post re this earlier (must have been getting my shopping list ready :o

Lisa's right....If you're veggie then green days were invented for you :) no point at all in doing EE as you wont benefit from eating the meat/fish & pasta/spuds together

PLUS on green you get the bonus of 2 HEA & 2 HEB (2 fibre plus bars!!).........thats soooooo not fair  :rotfl::rotfl:

Well I went for the interview (easy part).

Job spec was very little like Job Centre description, expected a hell of a lot for the hourly rate and a very poky office shared by another company. I was offered the job but texted when home to say thanks but no thanks. Also I would have had to work every other Saturday
    9 - 5pm for basic rate making it a (6 day week) :p

I knew I wouldn't stick at it so felt it better to say now.

I can't claim any benifits as DH working so it's back to the JC website on Tuesday

Off to Barnstable tomorrow for an over night stay with non SW friends. WI Tuesday morning may be  !!
I hope you all enjoy the bank holiday - supposed to be nice weather.
