Which plan do you usually follow?
How many syns do you usually have each day?
How much exercise have you done during the 19 weeks?
I would love to have the sort of weight loss you have achieved!
Have a great Sunday,

Morning everybody
I have some questions today so far if anyone can help please -
1 - What do you do when you go away (visit friends, family, on holdiday etc) to make sure you stick to plan?
2 - Thinking of the above, is it possible to incorporate the Light Choices / WW fom Heinz ready meals into the plan for short periods (up to a week at a time) to make it easy when away from home as these options are often sold in a nearby supermarket.
3 - What do you do if you go out to eat on the spur of the moment and dont have chance to save up Syns all week?
4 - When you save your leftover meals into portions to freeze as ready meals for another day what containers do you use? Also how do you reheat them, by microwave or oven and from frozen or defrosted ??
5 - What's the difference between a Slow Cooker and the JML Star Cheff Delux ? (http://www.jmldirect.com/product.asp?pf_id=S8888&changecurrency=GBP). Sorry NOT advertising I just wondered if it would be any good to get one for SW recipies or just use my unused new Slow Cooker (which I dont understand at the moment either lol).
Thanks for the help hope you're all having a good bank hol weekendFailure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

Morning!
Yesterday me and OH went to Saaarfend as the weather was nice. Was v good and took pasta quiche and salad with me for lunch*polishes halo* :A There was this italian festival thingy on down there (yummy italian food.) OH bought a risotto cake thingy which was risotto with ragu shaped into a ball and deep fried.. very strange. Tasted a bit of it as was intrigued.. it was ok just have no idea for syns!!
Yesterday's food (ee)
B - 28g Fruit and fibre (1/2 heb) with fat free vanilla onken yog followed by satsuma, banana, 1 w/g crackerbread with nutella (1/2 heb + 1.5 syns)
L/D Pasta quiche (pasta, quark, 28g boursin light 2.5 syns, 3 eggs, hea of cheese) had 1/2 of it (OH loves it and ate the rest lol) = allowed 1.5 syns. Had this with salad of pepper, tomatoes, carrot and cucumber.
Had tasters of OHs risotto cake plus an italian sausage (was not very big and 100% pork and was grilled so counted 4.5 syns as per basic syn list)
Went to the pub with my friends in the evening and had 4 vodka and diet cokes (10syns as 25ml measures)
Ok i went over syns (AGAIN!) but i only had 17.5 + whatever was in the measley amount of risotto cake!! So it could have been worse as i could have given in to fish and chips and ice cream down Saaarfend!
Today is gonna look like this - EE
B - 28g Ready brek (1/2 heb) with chopped banana, raspberries and milk (hea) 1 ryvita with choc spread (1/2 heb +1.5) Cup of tea.
L/D (as its sunday!) Boiled gammon with SW roasties, cabbage, carrots, butternut squash and ratatouille (Pots and veggies all from the allotment!)
For snacks i have ML yogs, plums, satsumas & mango. Allowing 10 syns today so will have a bag of velvet crunch (4) and bag of milky way magic stars (3.5) later on this evening
Total syns = 9All hail to the sale!!!!!!

1 - If i am visiting friends or family i make the most of flexi syns so i can enjoy myself and stay in control!
If i was to go away on hols (self catering in UK) i go to the supermarket buy bacon, eggs, beans, toms, mushrooms, a box of heb listed cereal (something like weetabix that i dont have to add crispbreads to) tins of new potatoes, milk, low syn crisps, bottles of diet coke/lemonade, bottle of vodka, low syn chocolate, cooked meat (lean ham and chicken) and salady stuff (i can no longer eat bread otherwise i would buy a loaf of bread used as a heb)
That way i can enjoy a SW cooked breakfast or cereal in the morning, i can make a picnic of potato salad, normal salad (and bread if i could eat it!) for lunch and then in the evening i would treat myself to a meal out (i would be on hols after all!) If i fancied a drink in the evening i have vodka and diet coke (2.5 syns for 25ml measure) and if i feel snacky i have some low syn crisps (crisps i buy are all less than 5 syns) or chocolate.
2 - I dont eat ready meals - i much prefer to cook something from scratch and take it with me and save my syns for something else - thats just me tho. This may not be convenient for some people
3 - i never ever save up syns... i did that before when i done SW and it didnt work for me. I prefer flexi syns.. yes when i have many flexi syn days in one week (it happens!) my losses slow or i STS (I have never gained) but i come away from my hol/visit/spur of the moments knowing i can just follow the plan 100% upon return and not have to worry that i have failed!
4 - if i make excess portions (its usually stuff like curry, chilli or chinese) i either eat it cold or i bung it in the microwave. Before SW i regularly ate chinese takeaways so i have lots and lots of takeaway tubs that i now use to store my leftovers! (and they are microwave safe!)All hail to the sale!!!!!!

I'm no expert but I'll give you my answers on your some of your questions!
1. When I go away I tend to have a flexi syn frame of mind, my downfall would be alcohol as I tend to go away for nights out with old friends, so I try to stick to SW free food in day and use syns on alcohol. Tell friends/family you are on SW (although I'm yet to do this!) and see what can be done to accomodate you. But if it's just the odd one off then I'd just say sod it and be extra good afterwards!
2. You can use Light Choices/WW or any ready meals on SW, you just need to syn them. If you go onto the SW part of minimins website there are threads on there with the syns in ready meals and WW products. If you are a SW member then you can look up syns online, or use food directory. Or ask the lovely peeps on here to look up syns for you. I don't use ready meals so have no idea of the syns!!
3. Try and find out what places are more SW friendly than others and steer your group to eating there! SW have an eating out guide that can be bought in class. If it's just a grab some food when your out then most pubs/cafes do jacket spuds so have green day and free topping or use HEA for cheese. Nanados is meant to be very good syn wise, but I'm veggie so wouldn't know! Chinese is low syn if you pick correctly. Pasta with tomato based sauce is low syn. Also there is an eating out thread on minimins.
4.Frozen leftover meals....I use the plastic tubs that chinese food comes in. But recently I had run out so I got 5 similar tubs with lids from Home Bargains for 89p. They last for ages and are stackable so fit well in freezer. If I know I am having something from the freezer for dinner then I'll try to get it out before I go to work so it can defrost. Otherwise I whack it in microwave to defrost.
5. No idea on this one sorry! I've only used my SC once. If you go to the OS board on here there are many SC threads which may help you!
Hope that helps
