  • Hi all, glad I'm not the only one feeling out of sorts (and not the only one been attacked by fairies either!) - it's been a "let's just sit and read and knit and sleep" kind of day for me, I couldn't galvanise myself, and COLD????? I know the sun was out, and I was sitting in the conservatory, but I ended up pulling on leggings under my skirt and then put a fleece over the two teeshirts I was already wearing, and pulled an electric fire close to me. I also managed to eat most of a tray of Thorntons caramel chocolate brownies or summat like that, the bloody Co-op had two trays for £2 so I gave a tray to a friend last night and stuck the other in my freezer so I could be strong willed like Dizzy is. erm...... Oh well tomorrow is another day and I think I need to make some Dynosoup so will look into that tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for making me smile :)

  • Jill36 - I do a 36mile round trip every day, have done for 15 odd years; I wouldn't be able to afford to do it on basic rate salary though, in fact when I was a "temp" I refused to do half day assignments because the travel from where I live to ANYWHERE meant working four hours just about covered my motoring costs! I hope u find something closer to home.

I love knitting too blackberry-rum. Can only get on with it occassionaly, usually when I am waiting for kid's swimming lessons to finish. Keeps the fairies away too (not always though!). Hope we all have a better day tomorrow.

Ooh my tea was lovely! I can't believe I can have pizza and wedges for tea!! I only needed 28g of cheese for the pizza. I decided to have LF coleslaw rather than ketchup so have had to sacrifice the jelly and creme fraiche, but I still have my kellogs bar and a HEA to eat before bed!

Oh BAD day BAD, BAD day :(

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee

L/T - Mum insisted buying chinese as well done for sons G.C.S.E results. She gets hers from different place to us. We didn't enjoy it much either. I had - veggie chow mein, sauce & some veg from hubbys cantonese style s/s chicken, couple of chips, s/f rice & 1 prawn ball :(.
Came home and am still hungry, had crisps [dint enjoy them either :o] while waiting for hubby to chop melon. Now going to have that with pineapple & muller. So ended on a healthy note :D.

The good news [I think] is WI this morning and another lb gone. That makes 2st gone and 4lb under target. I really don't want to lose any more . Also DID walk to Mums with son, not as fast as usual but quality time and its miles away so still exercise :T.

Welcome newbies, best place to be here.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Hey all, had a bit of a bad food day today. Me and the OH went to Brum and ended up having lunch at Bella Italia. It was lovely, but sorta threw mw off course for the rest of the day - at least it filled me up and stopped me snacking on the wrong stuff!

Ah well, back on track tomorrow - gym first thing followed by lots of housework to keep me occupied!

    'EE' diary for today

B - Bran flakes (HEB) milk (HEA)
L - Penne Diavola (Penne pasta with salami, caremelised onions, green chillies and a cherry tomato sauce with a small spoonful of marscapone.)
D- SW wedges to take the edge off.

Will have some strawberries and blueberries in a bit.

    Have a good night everybody!
