Crisp £ note.. I know you say you don't eat a lot (Im one of the "can eat a lot bunch":rotfl:) but its more a case of choosing carefully -I eat more now (in volume) than I used to, BUT any meal I make is at least 1/2 a plate of veggies/salad etc,
So Im actually consuming less if that makes senseplus I never feel hungry so as yet I have done SW 100% -as I don't crave or feel deprived
Have you started SW yet? only if so -things like fruit juice will soon add up and I hope you don't hate me for this -but the chicken ceasar wrap is 25.5 syns on all plans, so even though you don't eat much volume its a lot in terms of syns etc..Hoe you don't mind me commenting -only trying to help
-but tell me to naff off if you like
Can't remember (sorry) -who asked this morning -but I started on EE but for the last 10 weeks or so I have done all red days (I can't be trusted with unlimited carbs)....
My main exercise has been on the wii and walking round the golf course with hubby -but I joined the gym last week so Im about to step things up a bit....
Hi MRSMCAWBER Its good advice thank you of course I dont hate you if you're pointing me in the right direction! I now know!
No I haven't started yet am about to sign up for SW online later today and hope to begin tomorrow or by 1st Sept at latest to give me time to get sorted, plan ahead and shopping done!Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

I do SW online too -hope you get on with it...tis the best "weightloss" plan I have ever done -and trust me I have done loads :rotfl:-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
My only worry is the Breakfasts and lunches really as well you can see im not much of a plate piler! Would happily go for a bowl of Shreddies for lunch or a big lunch and a bowl for dinner or snack. Its a lot of money to comit in 1 go is £60 to find it doesnt 'suit' me!Failure is only someone elses judgement.

) last year before he deteriorated again . I havnt used it yet but it's in our spare room and I have rearranged the conservatry to pop it in the corner so I can do cycles (;)) on it whilst watching TV or waiting for the quick wash (1/2 hr) on the washing machine. Dont have kids and dont work due to disability so the day is mine really. I also have a tradmill but thats currently on loan to someone at the moment.
Must get it back as I suspect their not using it now. :j
I have just worked out that to reach my 10% weightloss target at 2lb a week with no setbacks or slip ups will get me to around 14th October, which co-incidentaly is me and hubbys 10th wedding Anniversary! What an incentive for me as a gift for hubby :kisses2:
I would love to have a day to myself now and again....I have 4 kids, and am studying P/T for a degree....I barely get a second to myself:cool:
That is a great incentive, and something really good to aim for:D
I am not with a group and although i keep toying with the idea of joining online, I really can't afford it....which is why I ask so many questions on here;) I really should go and join just to get the books though.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Ive been making the dyno rod veggie soup and just having a bowl of that at lunch then if im still hungry il maybe have a bit of chicken and some salady bits after or some fruit. You dont have to be a plate piler.....its more about making the right choices. You could still have a sandwich at lunch....just a healthier one using HEB wholemeal bread or pitta bread0 -

It is handy to have the books to look at......but - no one minds on here answering questions and helping out.....I know I dont.
This place is great for the moral support between going to group tho- its helped me loadsx

I don't see why you should struggle just because you don't have a big appetite -you should be able to alter the plan to suit -thats what is so great about it... It means you will be able to have some higher synned things -say like full fat mayo, yogs etc(which are often cheaper too;)) if you want to as you don't need the "bulk" that you get from lower synned stuff.
I don't eat mullers even though they are free as I don't like the taste so I would rather have to "pay" for proper ones with syns, I use oil not spray -again, things like this would make it easier for you to use your syns up without eating more:D
I really hope it works for you :T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
I'm so very glad I found this forum, its so much better [for me] than a group was. I couldn't stand all that happy clapping, I nearly nodded off my 1st night and wondered what the hell I was doing there. It did get better and I was grateful for all their motivation but here is so much better. We have such a laugh and everyone is so helpful and an inspiration [especially MrsM, Brill loss AGAIN :T:T]. I for one don't feel the need to join a class. Thanks to everyone here for keeping me on the straight and narrow :T.
Although saying that you weren't so good at keeping me inline this weekend :rotfl:.
B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - chicken salad [toms, cue, lettuce], new pots, beetroot, beans, cheese [a], s/cream [1], then spoilt it by having garlic/parsley flatbread [14.5]
T - not sure yet, depends whether hubby makes fruit crumble or not. If not then it'll be pineapple, melon, muller so won't be too bad. If he does that'll be the weekend gone to pot. Never mind fresh start tomorrow.
Someone said a target member they knew stuck to sw during the week and had free weekends and maintained her weight so if I can do this I should be ok.
Another thing, re superfrees, is it still the 3 p's that aren't superfree i.e peas, potatoes & parsnips as well as sweetcorn? I was told this years ago but not sure if its changed now.
Sorry to waffle on.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Thank you. But why is it so expensive and why 3 months at a time? Also on the SW website they say its not a diet, so how can so many people be successfully losing weight without dieting?
So if I decided NOT to join and save the money towards a treat for my 10% goal what would I eat over 7 days (bearing in mind I eat mainly the same stuff each week)?I know I know your thinking here we go again round and round in circles. But still £60 is expensive compared to WW and I wanna do SW
At present every week I / we have
B Cholesterol Yog drink and often some fruit
L Ham salad and salad cream / Turkey mayo / cheese & tomato sandwich or roll (Hovis Best of Both or Kngsmil 50 / 50 bread or rolls) with Olivio Olive light spread.
D
1 - Chicken breast burger with mayo and side salad
2 - Soup n roll or jacket spud and tuna mayo with primula squeezy cheese n chives with salad or something on toast
3 - Pasta / spaghetti with 5 veg n tinned tomatoes bolognaise or pasta cabonara sauce both with garlic bread or garlic toast
4 - Rice and chicken curry / Korma or Tikka (WW or LC sauces) with naan bread or lean mince / quorn mince con carne and red beans.
5 - Fish (variety of ways fingers, dippers, cakes, in breadcrumbs) and chips or wedges or BIB fish and veg and new potatoes
6 - 'takeaway night' (hubby ALWAYS has pizza shop home made, bought or delivery) usualy a readymeal version, stirfry or home cooked version of a takeaway or 'fast food' for me and a side salad.
7 - anything goes (Gammon, chops, fry up, roast, hot dogs, sasauge n mash, dippers, cottage pie, scampi, pie, quich etc).
Snacks have been munchies but am prepared to trade for grab n go fruit salad and 0% yoghurt or fromage frais 5 days a week and 1 chocolaty pud (or equivelant) and a bar of chocolate once a week (weekends and Tuesdays preferably)
I know I have missed out a lot of the salady bits, fruit n veg but I do take the oportunity to have these where I can. Mainly frozen veg and new potatoes or mash. Hubby will only eat peas, carrots, sweetcorn and spuds. Although he does like my 5 veg sauce without knowing theres 5 or more 'other' veg in it. I am going to try and replace some meat with Quorn (when its on offer) or veggie versions.
I usualy drink squash or tesco diet pop.
Things I dont like are celery stix, prawns and seafood. I like a lot of white fish though. Willing to try new things once or twice at least!
Is there anywhere I can purchase the starter pack from? Went to library last week and they didnt have any SW books and only a few WW ones.
ThanksFailure is only someone elses judgement.
