    Hi - can I join you, please? Was thinking about going back to class (again), but work and class doesn't always work out. And I'd sooner spend the money on food rather than class. I've got the books from when I last joined (earlier this year), so will give it a go on my own, with support from all you lovely people. I'll start tomorrow morning (which suits me much better than an afternoon/evening class) and let you know how I get on. Hope you all have a great holiday tomorrow.

    :wave:Welcome to all the newbies.
    I have had a better day today. I will be away until next Monday, if I can post occassionaly I will but don't know if I will be able to. Work starts again this week for me, although we are staying at the seaside house I will be going into work. Need to come up with some strategies for work. I can always get a jacket potato and beans from the canteen. They do fruit pots too. I need to suss out their yogurts, see how many syns they are. Other than that I think I will take in lots of fruit and some options sachets for treats.
    I do think you lot on this thread are lovely, I hope you all have a good week and I look forward to catching up with you when I return.

    Someone on minimins said it's out now but the SW website still has the old one on it (aug/sept with lady in blue dress)

    Someone on minimins said it's out now but the SW website still has the old one on it (aug/sept with lady in blue dress)

    Its OK -crisp £ Note -hubby hoofed me off the PC anyway :p-SO I have done it using the basics listed in the handbook -I can look up your brands tomorrow...
    so here goes ,,,and ladies please yell if I have messed any of it up -Im so used to doing my own meal plan I can do them off the top of my head...anyway...:-


    Brekkies:-I have left these alone as thats what you like
    • 350ml skimmed (A)
    • flora pro-active 100ml pomegranite and rasp (2.5)
    • fruit
    EE:-
    • 57g wholemeal roll (B)
    • 1tsp benecol olive oil 55% fat reduced (1)
    • 1tbs low fat salad cream (1.5)
    • ham
    • salad

    • Jacket potato
    • tuna fish in water/brine
    • 1tbs very low fat mayo (0.5)
    • salad
    total -1A+B and 5.5 syns


    red:-
    • 57g wholemeal roll (B)
    • marge as above (1)
    • chicken
    • salad

    • hm burger (using extra lean minced steak)
    • 42g low fat cheddar (A)
    • 227 jacket potato (B) -cut into wedges and cooked in
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • salad
    • hm coleslaw -using nat yog, quark
    =2A+2B and 4syns


    Green:-
    • 57g wholemeal roll (B)
    • 6 laughing cow extra lite (A)***
    • salad

    • Pasta
    • quorn bolognaise -with loads of veggies
    • laughing cow lites*** left from lunch
    • 25g garlic bread (5)
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    =2A+2B and 7.5syns


    EE:-
    • 3 WW malted bread (B) toasted
    • baked beans
    • mushrooms/fresh tomatoes

    • chicken breast
    • curry cook in sauce approx (4)-or you can have a SW recipe
    • veggies
    • rice
    • 28g naan (4) :eek:

    • 85g Ham (B)
    • salad
    • 1tbs salad cream as above (1.5)

    • quorn chilli

    Red :-
    • tortila wrap (6)
    • ham
    • salad
    • 1tbs salad cream (1.5)

    • Home made cheesy chicken kiev (A)+(2)
    • 227g potato (B) wedged and cooked in
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • veggies/salad
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    =2A+2B and 12.5 syns


    green:-
    • 3ww malted -toasted (B)
    • baked beans
    • 42g low fat cheddar (A)

    • 2x50g fishcakes (5)
    • hm made chips wedges:-
    • potatoes
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • mushy peas
    • fibre plus or 2 alpen lights (B)
    =2A+2Bs and 8syns


    red:-
    • 57g wholemeal roll (B)
    • tuna in water
    • salad
    • 1tbs salad cream (1.5)

    • hm pizza base (12) I can give you the recipe -makes about a 10" pizza ;)
    • 21g mozarella (1/2 A)
    • 14g fresh parmesan (1/2A)
    • ham
    • veggies etc
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    =2A+2B and 16 syns if you eat the whole pizza ;)

    Righty ho there are some ideas for you .... I have tried to leave syns over for treats and things, and then you can whack fruit and extra veggies in as you want/can...
    Hope that helps a little -Im sure everyone on here will have more ideas...
