or it could be the other way round, 2 HEAs and 1 or 2 HEBs. Just glanced at the website but I can't see where it specifies and I don't have my book with me. Either way, Guns, you need more than just a splosh of milk - 175 ml full milk, 250 ml semi skimmed, or 350 ml skimmed!

Thanks, i have have my milk all measured out in the fridge, i have 250ml semi skimmed. Whatever i dont use in tea/coffee i drink at the end of the day:D My coffees are way more than a splosh of milk:o My 250ml does 1 coffee and 2 teas generally, hence why i have yog with my breakfast as if i didnt there would be none left for my tea.

can I just say before I forget: I love DizzyK! You always make me laugh, and it can't be easy for you with your dizziness (I'm currently trying to imagine you ironing :) )
    .

Awwww shucks :o thanku Blackberry (I'll send you the cheque in the post for the compliment later lol ;))

Ironing is a big pain in the Bum.....which is why the pile is always sooooo big  Moving the iron about and watching it really fries my head & usually has me throwing up in a very short time :o.....and you should get a load of me trying to focus on anything with stripes!!
Jeez I hate OH's stripey golf shirts-I told him I feel sick when I look at him (not the greatest compliment I could have paid him I guess :rotfl:)
  • Day 3 for me and all is going well (I hope). I have not had any scales for years (too depressing) so no chance for me to take a sneaky peek.

I felt very bloated yesterday, so perhaps I should not worry about my lack of bread. I will just have the one HE b in the porridge and leave it at that. Ther is no problem with HE a because I have skimmed milk and 350 ml is plenty.

lbnblbnb - you had me going there for a moment, I thought I was missing out, but I'm on EE as I'm a newby I have not a clue about red days and green days. I will stick with the EE as that's enough to fuddle my brain!

i'm off to Bournemouth for the day tomorrow, so will have to be careful.

Have a wonderful day all you SW people!

It's 2 HEB and 1 or 2 HEA on red and green. I checked it on Wednesday as I've been doing EE but it's not working so I'm having a week of Red days.

I'm feeling rubbish today, I'm soo tired, my chest's all tight and I'm a bit snotty!!! I've got 4 days off after today though :-) going to be trying to up the exercise a bit over the long weekend as follows:

    Fri - riding lesson
    Sat - bike ride
Sun -walk (about 8 miles) with mum to a teashop for a jacket spud!!
Mon - bike ride or walk with OH
Tues - day out with mum which always involves plenty of walking.

The bike riding is rather unusual for me...I hate the damn things lol!!! It'll do me good though!

I had my meal out last night, made a good choice from the menu but I did have a few tasters of other peoples food (and puddings!) too so I'm counting 15 syns for yesterday and I'll keep them a bit lower for the next couple of days too.

    Here's my red day plan:

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - salad, ham, mackeral in tom sauce, fat free dressing, jelly (0.5), yogurt, berries
Tea - shepherds pie topped with root veg mash (carrots, swede, celeriac), veg, baby new potatoes roasted (HEB)
    Snacks - nectarine and plums.

Hope everyone has a fairy free day!
  • I forgot - Skint_Cat - thank you for the rice pudding for breakfast suggestion, I like that idea!

Also, I notice that lots of people are roasting veggies with a little olive oil and counting it as a syn.

As the spray oil is free I was wondering why you don't use that - is it the taste?

I always use the frylight stuffwith everything.....and I dont have any complaints at all with it,(OH is a real fusspot & hes not once complained either lol) but some folks just dont like the 'white appearance' that it has when you spray it on....and others say it tastes different.
It must be like marmite....you love it or hate it ? :rotfl:

ah, much like me then except I used completely skimmed so I get more - I use it all up in coffee thru the day though :)

    thank you Slimming World!
  • I need to mention this bloomin' online suggested EE menu. If I follow it to the letter I shall eat 6 eggs in three days; 6 eggs will last me two weeks usually. It was omelette last night, was supposed to be poached eggs on 2 slices bread this morning (I changed it to marmite & grilled tomato on one slice bread), and it's supposed to be a cheese omelette tomorrow :( There's also waaaaay more bread in the 7 day menu than I would normally eat (ie none). There's a dearth of superfree vegetables/fruits mentioned too. I don't think I shall continue with it.

What can I add to my meals/meal plans to bulk them out without costing the earth? I love fruit but it gets so expensive to top up every day!

Hi Lizzy - I have the same problem, very tight budget and findingfruit a bit too expensive. But veg on the other hand you can get some really good deals - big bags of carrots, onions, toms etc quite cheap (and look out for yellow stickers!)
However, I also find it helps to allow myself one fruit a week - for example this week i have Tesco plums (1 punnet for 1 pound) and have been eating them all week. Next week I might get a bag of apples, and so on. I find that if i have a different fruit each week i dont get bored of it and it doesn't cost the earth like it would to buy a range each week.

    Help please

Is the banana and custard Muller free ( I have one chilling in the freezer)

    and which ones aren't

    Thanks

the only mullers that are synned are the cherry with choc flavour and the cheese cake ones - strawberry and new york style (they're all about 2.5 - 1.5 syns i think)

My EE mealplan for the day:
2 slices small wholewheat bread (heb) with 2 eggs scrambled
    2 plums
cups of tea (1/2 hea milk, i measure mine out into a jug too, but only half the allowance as i have my tea quite strong)
    supernoodles
cottage pie with peas and carrot
veg and baked beans on the side
bit of cheese on top (1/2 hea)

does anyone know the syns in aero bubbles? they are my ultimate weakness!:o
aslo are soya beans free? or superfree or neither? I have some in the freezer.
    thanks :)
