Right, I need some help. I am planning on having pizza tomorrow night (it is a tradition in our house). I found this on minimins (look at post 4)

but I can't find confirmation that 80g Tesco Crusty wholemeal Bread mix is worth 2 HEBs? I have looked on the SW website, no luck. Has anyone heard this from their consultant or have info from elsewhere?

Edit: Having re-read it, I think she is counting the finished weight (115g) as equivalent to 2 x 57g of any wholemeal bread. I guess this could work?

  • well lunch was boring. I've now googled "authentic bolognese sauce" and got some more inspiration. Also next time (if there is a next time) I shall just use soya or tofu mince rather than that xxxxlean mince. It seemed to have a lot of unchewable strips in it, goodness knows what they were, a bit like string. And I am pleased to discover spaghetti is not a thing the italians would use with their bolognese sauce, they'd use a wider pasta or a short one, so my bows were authentic! Onwards and upwards, just checked and it's supposed to be ham omelette for tea, I may well syn a bit more cheese to add to that. By the way, Sainos BGTY cheddar and onion low fat snacks are very very salty and a massive 5.5 syns per teeny bag. Am planning to sell the remainder of my multipack at work, I don't like them.

I bet 22g is from a multipack, they are always smaller packs I think.

I started on SW today and to start with I am following the free sample week while I wait for answers to a couple of questions about body optimise.

For lunch today I had the jacket potato and beans but didn't bother with the coleslaw and fruit and yoghurt as we don't have any of the ingredients in the house.

I managed just half of the breakfast. I had the porridge with fruit but didn't have the eggs or the bacon or mackerel. My SW will be quite frugal but once I am back on line I can fit my menu plan to what we have available here.

Is it okay to eat only half what is recommended? I am not hungry at all.
