Thank you for the welcome consultant31. I really need to be eating a diet that will make a difference and I know that SW works. :D

I didn't have a good start today before I decided to go back to SW. I had a crumpet with butter!
    Tomorrow is my official start.

I don't know how long the Great Wall is but if you want an intermediate goal how about applying for the Moonwalk/Sunwalk in 2011? I did the Edinburgh Moonwalk (26.2 miles) last year. It nearly killed me, I got shin splints at 24 miles and it hurt like hell but its for a bloody good cause and the training did me a LOT of good! :)

bex are you eating enough ? your days food doesnt look very much to me in all honesty - lacking in protein which keeps you feeling full - only the lentils ??

the amount of cereal allowed and then just fruit for lunch would not satisfy me at all - sorry love :( just trying to be objective :) xx

sorry just noticed the chicken dippers - also protein - but if processed are they a good source ?

Hey Daisy, thanks for the advice. I'm probably not eating enough to be honest. The thing is, I was made redundant in July, so I'm 'sat around' for a lot of the day. I do go to the gym but I just feel that my lunchtime appetite has dwindled.

Cereal keeps me full for ages! But back when I was working, I would have 'elevenses'. Now I'm just not hungry for it.

This week I will try to snack more in between meals and have a decent lunch. :)

Yes, steps do me in too! :o I always refuse to go down to a beach or view if it means going down steps as I know I've got to come back up!

I think I must be a bit odd, when I 1st did sw I lost 2.5st on the same foods week in week out i.e jacket spuds, savoury rice, pasta & beans. I hardly drank any water in fact hardly drank much of anything really. I did hardly any exercise either but still lost weight, maybe not a lot at a time but still lost. The reason I gained was due to medication.
This time is mostly the same although eating more superfree, although its always the same fruit & veg i.e onions, tomatoes, pineapple & melon. I live on noodles, potatos & beans and still don't drink enough. But I have lost weight, slowly but am now at target [below it].
I know I don't eat as varied a diet as I should but I'm a bit of a fussy eater really, I like what I like so stick with it :D. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for all.
Any way I'm a loser and proud of it. Good luck all & sorry for the essay :p.
