I think the trick with EE is to try to make your entire day 1/3 superfree fruit and veg, so not necessarily each meal.
I find that I have loads of veg with lunch and dinner, so some bacon and toast and a bit of fruit for brek is fine since it all averages out ok, u know?
correct me if i'm wrong but that's the way I see it.

Also, I think eggs are superfree... in that they are free on both plans - anyone got a new SW EE book to check???? but obviously the point is to have 1/3 veg and fruit, you can't just have 1/3 eggs!!!

I know this post wasn't in response to me, but I was mulling this over last night actually..... if I want to do an EE day, how would I make my breakfast EE?

Also the eggs thing has just confused me! I thought eggs were free on both days, although I have never thought of them as superfree in the past, this conversation has just made me consider whether they should be??

    xx

eggs are free on both....so is quorn.

BUT when it goes on about SUPERFREE it is veg & fruit....so that would be any veg and fruit that you could eat freely on either plan (basically not spuds peas or sweetcorn is how I tend to remember it to make it simple)spuds however are free to eat still on ee just not SUPERFREE

so to make your brekkie ee you could have eggs beans bacon & then1/3 plate toms mushrooms superfree ;)

As long as 1/3rd of waht you eat is superfree then your ok

    I have had for breakfast:

Fruit and muller ( strawbs, bluebery, banana, mago, pineapple etc)
Bacon egg 1/3rd of the plate mushrooms easy these are my fave -grilled tomato for example
    Other options are things like
    Breakfast rice or couscous
Mushroom omelette inc mushrooms, onions, spinach etc
    Mushrooms on HEB toast

The spiced carrot soup is yummy:T I didn't put the milk in that was in the recipe - 3 syns worth, so it should be free i hope.

Ingredients are just carrot, potato, onion, garlic, stock and spices. No syns there?

Going to go and have some strawberries that need eaten then have some flying to do.

Hello ladies, glad to see you're all doing so well. I on the other hand have had a bad week.

I went for my bike ride the other day and had a BBQ when I got home. Definately no superfrees that day. I went to get some more stuff yesterday (because we've got nothing in the house) and I have absolutely NO money in my account. I've attempted to stop smoking but am not doing very well with that either but I really have to stop smoking before anything else because of my op and have realised that I'm going to crack up before long under the pressure of doing everything at the same time. I spent a lot of yesterday crying because it's really difficult to not let things stress me or get me down. I've decided to give SW a break until I've had my op and have stopped smoking for certain. I'd love to be slimmer but at the moment it's the smoking that's important. I already feel a bit weak for not being able to do both at the same time but if my bank account won't stretch to topping up on fruit and veg I can't afford the class either.

I'll still be following the plan as best as I can but right now, going to class isn't important. I can't stress about my weight and the stop smoking nurse has told me I need to get my priorities straight and smoking is the first on my list.

Crying again now. God, I'm so pathetic!!!

So I wish all you ladies the very best of luck and I'll be popping in every now and then for help and advice, but I have got to stop stressing!!!
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

oh screamer sorry ur having a bad time of it. Just take one thing at a time. if the ££ is getting too much for SW then stopping smoking will have double the benefits (health + ££) so then you can focus on slimming once you've addressed the smoking. no one can do everything at once and you shoudn't beat yourself up about it, you're only human.
take it easy and dont let it get to you else it will make it harder, just remember that if you do one thing at a time you'll get there in the end

So sorry you are having a crap time at the mo screamer

I think SW is one of them things where you have to be super organised in order for it to work right. I havent got to this stage yet but Im getting there! With effort, lots of planning efforts.

Being poor ( and I am) I cant afford class, after all a fiver a week is 20 a month and I can spend that on veg. I cant have both, its that simple for me really.

Giving up smoking is a great thing to do. I have recently restarted and its a very hard thing to stop, I want to stop already only been smoking again for 3 months, and I simply cant afford it. Although I did give up for over a year with willpower alone.

It just takes juggling. Juggling takes effort. Effort is tiring. But as long as we are all trooping in the right direction!

Sorry you have been upset but just to say you dont need to go to classes to follow the plan if you are determined enough. Quite a few of us on here dont go to class :)
