Sweet: do you fancy microwaving your mushrooms? Chop or not, to suit yourself, spray with a little oil and sprinkle some black pepper. One helping would be cooked through, not shrivelled, in around a minute I would say. Most nights I pop a Muller light into the freezer for about 1.5 hours. It gets a nice crunchy top, then a smooth hard creamy bit, then the middle at the bottom is just cold but not frozen - I love them like that, especially the toffee and the banana ones.

do you think it'll work (and be as nice) if I freeze and then de-frost a muller? I put it in the freezer yesterday and forgot about it!!! :o

and a big Well done!! to TakeItEazy's son! :T

Well after doing really well for a couple of weeks I am now struggling :( to stick to the plan despite planning my meals I seem to be always on the lookout for something to nibble :( my OH is following the plan with me me but DD isn't so there is stuff in the cupboards like crisp and chocolate :( munch munch munch

I think part of it is that I am not at work atm (teacher) so I am grazing because I am bored......weigh day is Thursday......must try harder LOL
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Can I ask peeps how you cook your mushrooms under the grill?? Are they whole?? How long do they need?? Quite fancy trying a cooked brekkie at the weekend but don't want to end up with shrivelled up mushies!!

I use my george foreman and It gives a lovely result! Spray the GF with frylite

Pick out the biggest mutant mushrooms from a value box :D

Throw them on then close the lid. Takes about the same time as the bacon

otherwise you can slice on a tray, flat, and lay on the grill tray ( ie baking sheet ) but theyll need to be sprayed with frylite on the tray and on the top or they will shrivvel.

Just a quickie, been for a medical appointment this morning and got a weigh - 9 stone 1 :D  Given my old scales were duff, I think I have maintained perfectly ( ???) :rotfl: Or im just lucky!
All those syns havent shown up yet so mighty pleased with that :D

I would say (using the rough 1syn per 20 cals) it would be about 5 syns - are they worth it?

WI last night - stayed the same - i am pleased considering the ben & jerrys cookie dough ice-cream i had at the weekend!

I look slimmer though - must be all the gym work last week!

    3 days to go!:o

    That was a rough calculation

Just checked on syn calculator (found the nutritional info on mars website) & it is 4.5syns per stick!

    I just saved you 1 syn!:j

Screamer - sorry to hear you are struggling. I gave up smoking 3 years ago and I know how hard that was and can see why it would be difficult to do that and concentrate on sw. Think you are doing right to approach it one step at a time. We will all be here to support you if you want to do sw without going to class.

TakeItEasy - congrats to your son, hope you can get some sleep now!

Next wi is tomorrow night have stuck to plan other than Sunday when we went to silverstone so really hope to have lost even if a small amount.

Yeah Screamer......hats off to you trying to stop smoking :T Just dont become a stranger on this forum!!!

Cos I know where you live remember LOL :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And i'l only come and do ridiculous stuff outside your house....Like dress up like a big fat food fairy, and put up big petititions till you come back :D:p

And everyone can help you stick to some sort of plan till you're able to come back to group. Greens & reds work out cheaper then youre not having to do the 1/3 fruit veg thing.....lovelybig plate of chips & beans when ur craving a fag :p xx
