Breakfast: quorn sausages and onions cooked on GF grill, baked beans, slice of wholemeal toast (HEB x1)

Dinner: Large red cabbage, carrot and bean salad, with chilli and fat free french dressing
    Moussaka. (1 tbspn olive oil =HE B, 28g cheddar = HEA)
Quark and raspberry jelly and strawberries (hoping this will be a little like panna cotta!)
Snacks: grapes, strawberries, vanilla yoghurt, cottage cheese, syn free soup

Syns: Jelly = 1.5, but split between four of us = .375!!

I asked at class and Balsamic Vinegar is free. If you get a "balsamic vinegar dressing" that may well have oil in it so would have syns. Just the regular balsamic vinegar is really good on salads though, imo.
yup its the plain old vinegar I use (I figured the dressings were synned)
It really livens up a boring old lettuce leaf :D

Morning! It's absolutely throwing it down here! I forgot the carpark opposite my office was closed today so didn't bring a coat! So I'm now soaked after having to walk from the other end of the plant! I'm also shattered as someone's house alarm has been going off since 3am!! Ah well, the day can only get better!! Here's my plan for today:

Brekkie - melon, banana, berries, yogurt (I'm trying to save my HEB for later but I bet I'll be starving within an hour of eating this!!)
Lunch - tuna pasta salad, jelly (0.5). Not sure if there's quite a third superfree in the pasta salad but I'm having enough fruit today to make up for it if not!!!
Tea - chicken and mushroom canelloni (HEA for cheese plus some syns for the cambells soup I'm using, not sure how many yet!), jacket potato, salad, fruit roulade.
Snacks - nectarine, plum, fibre plus bar (HEB), milk in tea (2).

I'm hoping the weather clears up so I can go for a walk with my mum later.

Have a good day everyone....get ready to fight those pesky fairies!!!

I can't sleep as my sleep pattern is still all over the place after staying in the US.
I am planning my food for today, but can only find a 250g Cadbury's Dairy Milk bar in my Food directory (2008/9). Would someone mind looking up the syn value for a 230g bar? I think it should be about 60 syns, but I want to get this right!

the 230g bars you have to do on the calculator and then divide up the number of squares in the bar.... these are the ones I buy ;)

    dairy milk 1 square = 1.5 syn
    cadbury caramel 230g bar 1 square = 2 syn

Apparently there is a frylite version of a balsamic dressing

Has anyone seen this in the shops?

    ^^^^Spammer reported:)

Morning everyone, so today is my first day:D I am doing it from home and although I will mainly stick with green/red days, I do want to try a few EE days, so might need some help from you lovely lot with these:)

I need to go shopping today but have started well - Weetabix (HEb) Milk (HEa) and a banana chopped into it:)

I will be having my HM Soup for lunch with some fruit, I am not exactly sure what I will be having for Dinner!! I will try and sit down later to meal plan for the week.

    xx

Question - are onions and carrots both superfree?
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Good morning all, I started slimming world last week so my first weigh in tomorrow so will either be :j or  LOL.

I'm thinking of making a curry today for lunch but wanted to freeze some, the curry I'm doing is the creamy one where you add the yogurt just before serving ? so can I freeze the curry after I add the yogurt ? any help please most welcome.
  • [QUOTE=redmel1621;35960095Question - are onions and carrots both superfree?

    Yes they are :D [/QUOTE]

I'm going to attempt the syn-free onion bhajis today - not sure whether to add 1 or 2 tbsp curry powder though?? Can anyone who has tried them advise pls??

Also, hubby came back with the wrong bread yday - 800g wholemeal instead of 400g :( I was supposed to be using 2 pieces as a HEB for my cheese on toast so only ended up having 1 piece, does that still count or should I have synned it instead??

WI tonight, not sure how it will go as it's *week.
