Struggling for lunches (usually eat in the car while reading so as to take a break from my desk) without bread - any suggestions welcome. No cooking facilities other than hot water but I find a mug shot doesn't fill me up at the mo on it's own.

Pls can I have syn values for WW chicken noodle soup & tomato soup. Thanks

    Right, hello EVERYONE

I suppose I best introduce myself, some of you 'old-timers' may remember me:)

I was here a while ago, then left as I was pregnant and was struggling to keep up with it. Had my son in March 2009:D I was on the verge of getting back with the plan when I found out I was pregnant again!!!! My daughter was born 8wks ago:D

So here I am ready to start full on tomorrow:) I am looking forward to chatting and sharing advice as I found this forum a great source of inspiration last time round. I will weigh-in in the morning and report back with current weight and how much I am aiming to lose. It is most likely in the 3-4st stone range!

    xx

You have to watch which balsamic you get as some have syns so I've noticed.
I asked at class and Balsamic Vinegar is free. If you get a "balsamic vinegar dressing" that may well have oil in it so would have syns. Just the regular balsamic vinegar is really good on salads though, imo.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I redmel, yes married in June :D and yes, fingers crossed for ickle feet ;)

WW was ok - lost 8lbs in the first week then nothing for the following 2! Don't do well being hungry and the lowest syn meals were often highly processed (Subway sarnies, chinese takeaways) which didn't sit well with my SW background! My other option is something like Lighter Life but I know how drastic it is and will always appreciate how much you can eat on SW!

Can't believe I actually did a bit of running tonight . I held out sons water as he ran past and he missed it so had to run to other side of track to catch him then ran back to get it off him again :rotfl:
Today I have mostly been eating:

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee

L - roast chicken, lettuce, cue, toms, celery, new pots, cheese [a], beetroot, beans, stuffing [6], s/cream [1], curry mayo [3]

T - pineapple, melon, plum, meringue [remembered this time] [2.5], muller. This is so filling no room for anything else :o.

    Snacks - fibre plus

    Syns - 12.5

    Managed extra HEs today :D
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Lol, am so jealous of your 4! :D It's only the lack of sleep that would ever put me off. Looks like we're both looking to lose a similar amount of weight (4st ish for me to start anyhoo!) must stick to it though due to my lack of control there are lots of tempting things in the house! Will be easier when OH is working away as I won't be forced to drink wine! ;)

What are these fibre plus bars people talk about pls?

    Hi guys

I know a few of you are doing beef stew tonight, wanted to pass on a tip. Instead of using flour to thicken the sauce in the slow cooker, instead I tipped in about a quarter of a bag of powdered mash ( sains own) as I remembered that you thicken gravy with mash.

Its worked really well, lovely and thick with no powdery taste, recommended!!! so makes it syn free unless its a misuse of free food??

    :)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Lynz, my consultant suggested using instant mash to thicken stuff like soup and gravy as it is syn free. I made courgette soup today, couldnt be bothered to peel potatoes to put in so went with instant mash at the end and it was fine.
