I love courgettes grilled, do you have a george foreman grill? I have done them in griddle pans as well before, they are great in salads :)

No George Forman or Griddle pan, Griddle plan is next on my list of kitchen gadgets to buy though! Great idea to use them in salads as I seem to eat a lot of salads! Could do them in frying pan tonight and let cool, i reckon they will keep for a couple of days in a tub in the fridge. Thanks!

Normal grill is probably fine too :)

I spray the base with frylite so that they dont stick by the way

Yummy warm or cold in salad, a good addition to the usual couscous salad that I make and really ups the 1/3rd :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

My mum has one of those I noticed in her cupboard (shes a hoarder & overspender :mad:and uses nothing lol) but all the satchets looked to be full fat and not sw friendly.....can you get these??? Id love to make my own! (and pinch her maker if shes never going to use it :rotfl:)

I make mine using UHT skimmed milk, powdered skimmed milk and a starter yogurt. I then add sweetner and fruit to flavour it (usually frozen mixed berries). If you want to give it a go let me know and I'll tell you how I do it.

Sorry to hear it was hubbys friend that died Dizzy, how could those others not stop. They must have realised they hit something. So sad.

I'm all over the place today, son has gone on pre season at his new college and was so very nervous this morning [had no toilet worries there :D]. I worry too, as its a new place & we don't really know what to expect. Sure he'll be fine though. Gets his G.C.S.E results tomorrow too  the stress ......
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

hmm, problem with going for a run in the morning is that i am now starving!

Felt like i needed something a bit more nutritious than the planned mugshot/noodles so I have made a lovely free pasta salad:
    cold pasta
    quark
    ham
    cucumber
    spring onion
    plum tomatoes

    yum! :)

Most 'short's' are 2.5 syns so top up with diet mixer for a long low-syn drink - whiskey, vodka, gin etc

I hate to say this (and someone may have already said it) but as I understand it the size of shorts in pubs has increased, thus the syns have also increased. It's 4 for vodka now if I remember rightly (I'm a wine gal myself and that hasn't changed!)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Apparently there is a frylite version of a balsamic dressing

Has anyone seen this in the shops?

    http://www.frylight.co.uk/sales.html

Ive never been able to find any of the other frylights except sunflower and olive oil up here :(
