Creme fraiche is more like a cream .....its very nice on strawbs etc but its always synned (unfortunately ) Its about 1.5 per level tblspn for the reduced fat stuff

It's so worth the 1.5syns though. Even the low fat one is very creamy, I buy the Tesco one. I have it one chopped up fruit or on sugar free jelly. I also use it in place of sourcream or with curry's sometimes.

Morning everyone! So m consultant was wrong and I was right about the crisps....perhaps I should be a consultant instead of her lol!!!! I was up at 5.20am to pick OH up from work!!! I then went back to bed for a couple of hours so not too bad in the end! I've just had brekkie and next I'm heading to the shop, I'm going to walk the long way round today. I need more eggs so I can make the roulade for pudding. Here's my plan for today:

Brekkie - mushroom omlette, tinned tomatoes
Lunch - not sure yet, might have a jacket potato and salad with tuna or something
Tea - stewed beef (in slow cooker) with mushrooms and herbs, mash, veggies (syns for the gravy, not sure how many yet as it depends how I decide to do it)
    Pudding - roulade (0.5)
HEA - milk (in tea and omlette
    HEB - fibre plus bar

oh I agree its worth the syns for cooking with (making that extra lush creamy soup :D)

Have you tried a tub of 0% fat greek yog mixed with a white choc options (2syn) its just like cream!!!:).....and you get a lot more for your syns :D
  • I was naughty yesterday as well lynz :o Ate the full galaxy cookie crumble bar (12.5 syns), finished off the wine (16 syns) & had a BBQd sausage that I don't (want to) know the syns for!! :o

Back to being sensible today though -

    EE
    B - banana & mullerlight
L - cheese (HEA) & tomato on toast (HEB) followed by strawbs & apple
D - M&S cajun chick (need to check syns) with HM bombay potatoes (syn-free) followed by a pear

Bit of an odd combo for dinner but the potatoes are leftovers from yesterday :D

I might as well confess my syns :o

Quorn burger 3.5 on brown roll (heb :rotfl:) tiny amount of lettuce, bbq sauce
    Whole packet of nice biscuits
    half a bag M&MS
    another dime bar
cheese and onion toasted sandwich on white bread!
    half a double decker

    shocking :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

C'mon, you have to laugh or you'd cry!!
Everyone has blips, some bigger than others, but as long as you get back to being sensible straightaway you should be fine :D

  • Mmmmm, mango, pineapple & muller sounds lush

I've been looking at the lower-syn chocolate treats in the SW book (buttons, fudge, milky way etc) as I know now that I can't be trusted with just eating half of the higher-syn stuff :o

Do you want me to tell you how many syns in a picnic or do you already know??

    11.5!!
