Hi everyone - I hope you have all had a good week without any pesky fairies?

We have been in France in a Gite and this has just been fatal. I hadn't had white bread in over a year but I have eaten it every day, and how sore and swollen am I? My stomach is re-arranging itself all of the time and I had to let my belt out a hole. Never eating white bread again. Or other things that I would mention but might set fairies off!

I think I will not be weighing myself tomorrow, then have a week back on plan and see where I am next week. Might measure my stomach though and shock myself into behaving.

We have vast quantities of french beans, runner beans, courgettes and 30+ eggs so should be able to work with those nicely over the next few days.

    Hello all,
I have read through the thread really quickly. I am planning my meals for next week and making a shopping list. Planning to weigh in for the first time on Tuesday (ok, happybunny86?) and go from there. Despite not officially starting yet have had quite a good day, made a spanish omlette for brunch and made syn-free curry and boiled rice for dinner (lovely). Only failing was far too much wine, must get some fizzy water and limes.

    SOUP
Good old Delia Smith offers a fat free recipe in the complete cookery course book (the old one).
    1lb veg=1pint stock.
Just peel your choice of veg, slice it (I run it all through the slicing thingie of my food processor), simmer it in the stock for an hour, then whizz it up (I usually use the same food processor, just substitute the blade for the slicing disc). I always use the Marigold vegetable bouillon powder - don't know how many syns it is, can't be many or I am sure someone mentioned all stock is now free?
As a basic recipe this is great. You can add lentils etc as you choose. Never failed me yet.

All this talk about Galaxy cookie Crumble - will have to look at it tomorrow when I do the big food shop. I like the idea of freezing it - do you have to cut it into portions first or does it break ok once frozen? My little ones have an extraordinary sense of smell for anything chocolatey - as does my husband.

    Morning all

I didn't end up having my jelly/creme fraiche or crisps last night. I ws in the mood for something sweet but the jelly hadn't set! So I just had another Activa FF yog. Quite glad I saved myself a few syns as I'm off to my parents for lunch. Think we having a veggie roast, so will need to syn roast pots, yorkshire and gravy. I haven't told them I'm on SW (long story! I'm not ready to do that yet) but it shouldn't be too high syns.

II'll post my meals later once I'm back. I am havign magic porridge for breakfast. HEB of oats soaked in vanilla Activa FF yog overnight. I read about it on minimins so thought I'd give it a go since I can't have my usual weekend brekkie of fried egg on toast as I have no hob!

Have a good day all, keep the fairies away.

    Good morning everyone,

Well done Mrs Mc, another 2 lbs gone, amazing!

Hope you are all having an angelic SW weekend? I don't know what came over me yesterday but had a little binge of plain bread, crisps (salt and balsamic vinegar) and some Mars planets chocolate. I felt horrible after eating it, serves me right.

DD and I did go the the gym in the afternoon, so hopefully I didn't do too much damage weight wise.

I am going to make the soup that Consultant posted a few pages back with lentils and carrots etc. I need something filling and tasty today.

I have a mountain of ironing to do so that should keep my nose out of the fridge.

    Have a great day.
