Hey well done you :T:T that menu sounds a bit good ! has someone kidnapped the old screamer and replaced her by the new improved breakfast eating one :p;)

Lift update.....tis still knackered.....the engineer has ordered the parts needed - and I'm still stuck in here
I missed my physio today cos I couldnt get out....Just hope if there is a fire they send firemen with strong backs to get me.:rotfl:

Its bloody ridiculous tho, I took this apartment as it had the lift-and everything was easy access for me. Its got a security barrier at the entrance thats activiated by a key fob that used to work from my balcony (so I could let my visitors in) then when the barrier kept breaking (kids pulling the aerial off) the managing agents decided to replace the whole barrier with a new heavy duty one......except now you have to be right up at the barrier to open it (designed for when your in your car) When asked why it no longer works at a distance.....its a cost issue it costs more money to have a hidden aerial.
Then when Im in hospital having the latest Neurosurgery.....they decide to install stupid lighting in the communal corridors (there is no natural light even up on the penthouse floor where I am-youd have thought they would have put those roof lights inthat dont use electric?) anyway...they install these sensor lights that are so sensitive you have to be like linford bloody christie to get between them to keep the corridor lit!!:o I came home on a zimmer frame hugging the walls with the vertigo while OH was running about like a nutter giving me some light. Theyve altered the setting a bit now for me after OH kicked off at them but its still hard work. AND NOW THE F*CKING LIFT IS BROKE :rotfl::rotfl:
I think its nearly time for my kit kat.....my pmt is showing :o lol

Which block of flats in Leeds do you live in Dizzy? I used to live near the playhouse and it was always like that.

We don't live in Leeds :-)
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Tuesday's at the moment, will be nice to have someone keeping me motivated! I'm not doing so great at the moment! My main problem is I got to target (8 stone 5 pounds from 11 stone) by not eating healthy food and generally not eating much at all and still splurging on rubbish every now and then. So I lost a stone in the worst way possible!

I contacted slimming world and spoke to consulant 31 but as I don't have 7 pounds to lose they won't take me, same problem with joining the online scheme. I weight 9 stone now, which is a perfectly acceptable weight for my height (5,2) but I only seem to maintain it by eating rubbish, so I want to eat healthily and stick around 8 stone 7. Being rather short I can tell in my clothes as soon as I get to 9 stone and above the size 12 comes out and I'm a 10 at 8,7 which I'm more comfortable as.

The fairies get me all day everyday! I can quite easily much through a lifetimes supply of chocolates. Used to be a pack of biccys too but I'm allergic to gluten so don't do that so much, I can only eat 5 or 6 of the gluten free ones at a time haha!! I'm 26 and my mum keeps saying my metabolism will slow down soon and I'll get away with less then! I've started using DizzyKs trick of saving my syns till the evening and snacking on fruit at work as I was using them up in the day and then being tempted in the evenings too. When do they get you?

    WOW essay!
OK happybunny, Tuesdays it is. Next Tuesday will be my first. I was weighed by the doctor over here when I went to get antibiotics for a throat infection (the reality of my weight horrified me) but as that was not on my home scales I can't do a comparison.
My SIL has coeliacs (spelling?!). It is tough, and I know what you mean about gluten free bread etc, it seems rather insubstantial. It looks like some of the others have found good advice for you.
You have achieved so much: the weight loss and running a marathon!
SW worked best for me when I planned ahead so that I had masses of yummy food and treats planned. It goes wrong when I am aimless and start to snack and pick. I have about twenty dishes that I rotate for our evening meals, with variations, and I think I can make most of them syn-free or low syn.
Congrats to all the "losers" - I teach teenagers and can't help hearing the word "losers" in a certain tone of voice!

    Morning everyone.

WI this morning for me and I was a bit disappointed at 0.5lb off but it is * week so I should be pleased. I really wanted to move into the 12's this week - as I have wanted the past 2 weeks. I've not had any bad days, all within plan. I WILL be good even though I am a bit disheartened and I will have a good result next week - the last weigh in before holidays.

    Today (EE)
    B - 1/3 tin Beans (F) 2 eggs (F) 3 mushrooms (F) *edit* added a fresh tomato
L - Veggie chow mein (F) (carrot, beansprouts, spinich, onion, pepper)
Mid Aft - Bowl of fruit (a mix of mango, pineapple, nectarine, raspberries) 4 tbsp sweetened greek yog (1)
D - Moussaka (A + 2) half a plate of salad (lettuce, cucumber, radish, tomato, grated carrot, celery, green pepper, sweetcorn) (F)
Even - Bowl of fruit (as above + 0.5 banana) 4 tbsp sweetened greek yog (1)

    syns = 3 so far.

I am going to try and keep a closer eye on superfrees and speedfoods this week as it is easy not have my 1/3 superfree. Does the above look like it will get there?

My main issues is the HEBs. I don't really know if my bread and pittas etc contain as much fibre as a lot of them are made from rice/potato flour so don't know if they work in the same way and as such some days I don't have them which maybe affecting my loss overall. Any tips?

There are some gluten free items listed online for HEBs. If you let me know which ones you have I'll let you know if they're HEB.

Wll morning everyone. WI last night and 0.5lb off for me. I was a little bit dissapointed as I'd been good however I think I need to aim for 10 syns or less...I usually do but due to having people round for tea a couple of nights I ended up around the 15 mark a couple of days atleast. I'm sick of 'wasting' syns on salad cream, I often have salad twice a day which ends up being 4 whole syns on salad cream....just think what else I could do with them!!! I've made some soup for today and tomorrow (spicy lentil and veg) lunchtimes and frozen 3 portions for next week. I've also bought some fat free salad dressign for my teatime salads so that should help me out!! I'm riding tonight but going for a hack instead of a lesson for a change so probably not quite so energy burning as normal!!!

    I'm doing EE today:

Brekkie - rice, yogurt, lemon curd (1.5), banana
Lunch - spicy lentil & veg soup, 1 slice of bread (HEB), yogurt, mango, pineapple, jelly (0.5)
Tea - SW moussaka (0.5 & half HEA), veg, jacket potato
    Snacks - nectarine, plum

So that's only 2.5 syns planned which leaves me with nough to have a treat to give me energy before riding...may well be a fibre plus bar. The other half of HEA will be milk in my cuppas!!!

Have a good, fairy free day everyone!

    Morning All

    Well done you Losers :T
And Hello :hello: to any newbies that I may have missed during my...ahem....PMT strops and lift stresses the last 2 days :wall:

Anyway, Yesterday finished with me only eating 6 squares of Galaxy cookie crumble 6.5 & 2 cubes of dairymilk 3 = 9.5 :A

which I was very pleased about, as I could have happily eaten my way through a whole lot more if I'd started on it earlier in the day the way I felt :o 8 -9 pm choccie time seems to work :T

I also ate the last punnet of Asda whoopsied tiny plums after tea:o but hey it kept the faires away ;) (has not worked as I had hoped in the Dyno rod area tho.....2 punnets in.....where are they now?? )

Not sure what Im eating today yet. Other than:

    Brekkie kiwi, blueberry, yog

Need to take a walk on the corridor later this aft to see if the lift is working yet.......Its WI tonight so need to be getting out for that-or let consultant know so I dont get charged missing group for being a prisoner  (that would top my week off :rotfl:) fingers crossed anyway......
