  • I've got weigh in tonight. Really struggled this week - especially yesterday when I was out with my friend - I turned down ice cream and crisps and eat my apples instead! Just hoping my hard efforts turn up at the scales tonight! I think I've eaten more food this week because I've permanently had the nibbles!! All of it has been free food but bit worried about weigh in as sometimes if I eat more even if it is free food I gain weight!

Yes I was about to reply but dipped my finger in the deep fat fryer and ended up at A and E. I'd looked online as a lady at work said she'd log me in as her and I couldn't see anything. It was REALLY helpful though. I don't eat the glutafin brand but hopefully its similar across all brands :)

Oh dear.....not a good side dish to a meal "deep fried crispy finger" hope its not too sore

If you can log in again at work you can check if your own brand bread etc are in the latest HEB lists....or just post what you normally have and I / anyone who's about can check it for you online :D
  • Ouch HappyBunny! that was a bit silly! (I do that because I am used to cooking with the microwave; if I haul out the halogen oven I forget the dishes will be hot:eek: but luckily I don't have a deep fat fryer :D )
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Does anyone know if goats cheese can be used as a HEa? I have checked online but couldn't see it on the list but noticed you can have 42g feta as a HEa which is a type of goats cheese i think?? I have been craving goats cheese all week and was thinking of making some kind of tarlet at weekend using filo which is quite low syn and some kind of caramalised red onion on the side, it would save some syns if I could use the goats cheese as hea.

  • Hi everyone! :)

Wasn't on yesterday as i have come down with a stomach bug. Its doing the rounds in work atm... its nasty! On the plus side its given my body a good... ahem.. clear out! (TMI)

Yesterday was pretty much off plan as i couldnt keep anything down. I managed to eat some fruit and fibre cereal but that made things worse. The only thing (believe it or not) that eased the stomach pain and the.. ahem.. symptoms of my bug was white bread.. (despite having an intolerance... how wierd?) So had 3 slices (12 syns) along with 3 ginger nut biscuits (6) throughout the day and 3 oat biscuits (9). Dinner was SW chips (on their own) and a bag of space raiders (3.5) Ok so the above food is TERRIBLE but at least my tummy is a million times better today.

So, I am back on plan (as much as i can stomach anyway!)

B - 2 weetabix (heb) milk (hea) Cup of tea.

I feel a bit sick but at least my breakfast has stayed in my body!

L - not sure - will involve 2 x hard boiled eggs and possibly some "breakfast rice" for afters (if i have the energy to make it)

D - Am thinking cheesey ham pasta bake. (obviously being careful with the cheese)

Of course i will be drinking loads of water to ensure my body keeps hydrated... i lost so much water yesterday!

Think i will call it a green day and use the ham as my second Heb. I want to avoid too much fibre today if i can!

l - veggie soup, half a boiled egg (was a bit snotty so chucked it), couple of slices of ham, apple ... also got some seafood sticks with me but they're on the turn and maybe another muller if i'm still pekish
d - something with peppers, onions and courgettes. will probably make an omelette or something.
