1 butternut squash, chopped
5 carrots (optional), chopped
Large tin of red or pink salmon, drained with skin and bones removed
1 red chilli, finely chopped
1 bunch of spring onions, finely chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
½ tsp Thai 7 Spice or Chinese 5 Spice
Pinch of dried mustard powder
1 egg, beaten
Fry Light
1. Boil the carrots and butternut squash until tender, then drain in a colander to remove all the excess water, return to the pan
and mash.
2. Add the salmon, chilli and spring onions and combine. Add the spice and mustard powder, season to taste and mix together with the beaten egg.
3. Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape each one into a ball. Flatten each ball with your hands to form a ‘cake’, and store in the fridge until required.
4. Spray a frying pan with Fry Light and fry for approximately 5 minutes on each side. Serve with a huge fresh green salad.
Thats the recipe. I'm not a great masher but it was too thin even before i put it in the liquidiser. Anyone else tried these? Had to put flour in, in the end as tood tired to boil spuds!Pay off Debts by Christmas 2015 = DEBT FREE!0 -

Not sure whether to cancel my transaction and buy something else or to wait and see. Grrr, really want to get going on this. Will try and be good today anyway.
Breakfast will either be weetabix with whole milk or branflakes, lunch will be boiled egg and wholemeal toast and dinner is chicken fajita and salad.
Taken a load of fruit out the fridge to warm up a little so will snack on that if i'm hungry.
By far the cheapest and best way to get the books you need for SW is to join a group, even if you only go the once. You will pay under £10 for all the pack necessary to get you going AND get a talk through by the Consultant.
I have seen some shocking rip-off prices on eBay - I once saw a pack go for £41 when they are under a tenner in group.:eek:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Evening my lovelies. Just half a pound for me this week, but quite happy with that. I have had the serious munchies and been right to the limit of my syns, so any loss is good.
Fingers crossed for a better week this week.:xmastree:Merry Christmas0 -
Well done YOEMMA DAISY & KITTY
Your all a pack of losers
I managed to definitely have a quarter or even less of that wagas sauce ( dont buy it, it was horrible) there is still half a jar in the fridge Ill keep for a few days till I chuck it outSo that is just 4.5 syns for 1/4 of the jar, was a little claggy so i let it out with a drop of water, scrumptious stir fry veg though of carrot, spring onion, red onion, peppers mushrooms, baby corn and sugar snap peas. Couldnt finish the pork in the end
4.5 + 3.5 for the WW hoops + 7 for my dime bar = 15
Might only have half- maybe!
Was looking at the biscuits before and had more fruit and yog instead. :A
Feeling v pleased with self! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Bleurrrgh they sound awful! What's wrong with a regular fishcake recipe which would be fish, herbs, and mashed potato! This supports my theory that some SW recipes are a hell of a lot of faff to get something that doesn't taste as good as the same thing done in a straightforward way :rotfl: I hope you enjoyed them in the end:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

I can't believe how much packs go for on eBay and that people are willing to pay that much."I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and... I believe in miracles."

Evening all
Well done losers
I was very good at the picnic at the theatre tonight :j. I stuck to my SW friendly (free) snacks. I did have one bottle of beer (6syns) and 2 bourbon biscuits (7syns), and 4 tortilla chips (?) but I've had no other syns today so I reckon even with the rogue tortilla chips I'm still under 15 syns. I even turned down cake
