marathon runner eh.......well I wont try run after you if you nick my last kit kat then :rotfl:

Have you got your treats for this evening stashed away then? ;)

Big, big emphasis on that being a loooong time ago! I can't run to the end of the road now without getting out of breath! Thinking of starting some structured exercise next week to aid the plan.

I am already dreaming of my 2 biscuits and piece of fudge. Ooo the excitement! I am missing chocolate though so I'm going to change to 2 biscuits and a choccy truffle next week. I've found it much easier to wait until the end of the day and just eat fruit at work. Before I was eating syns at work then going home having none or few left and caving.

    ok here's today's EE plan:

brek: cereal with skim (1/2 hea and 1/2 heb)
innocent smoothie (freebie - no fruit in the house)
lunch: reheated curry from last night (prob 2 syns for the coconut in it) and 7.5 syns for the naan (last one, needs using up!)
snack - muller or whatever fruit I get cheap in Mr Ts (popping out in a mo)
dinner- lean beef in blackbean sauce (2.5 syns for half a sachet) with egg fried rice (home made)
dessert - hot choc (2.0 syns)
    total syns: 14.0
Need to have another 1/2 heb and 1/2 hes so might have ryvita and laughing cow later on if i get peckish.

It's my WI tonight also - dreading it as the fairies were with me at the weekend!
    Today I have eaten:-

Breakfast - 2 slices small wholemeal bread (HEB) and 1 slice ham
    Snack - Apple and Nectarine
Lunch - ham, lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, cucumber and hard boiled egg. Velvet Crunch (4)
    Snack - Grapes
Dinner - not sure what I will eat after WI

Well done on all those losses :T

    Makes about 8 medium bhajis

(free on EE if eaten with 1/3 superfree)

    I med red onion
    1 med white onion
    Clove Garlic chopped
    1 tsp salt
    Tin chickpeas
    Egg
1 or 2 tbsp Curry powder
    Cumin seeds (optional)
    Black onion seeds (optional)

*Put chickpeas, salt, curry poder, cumin seeds, garlic and egg into food processor and blend until a smoothish thick paste. you may need to add a little water to get the right consistancy.
*Chop onions in half and slice thinly. Add the chick pea mixture and black onion seeds if using to the onions and mix with your hands until onions are separated and covered in chick pea mix. Leave in the fridge for about half an hour or longer
*Spray an oven tray with frylight and using your hands form 8 loose bhaji shapes from the mixture, leave some onions sticking out as they get nice and crispy. Spray a little frylight on the top of them (i use about 4 squirts for all of them)
    * Put in hot oven 180 degrees for about 20-25 mins or until the top looks golden brown and a little crispy, very gently turn them over and pop back in oven for another 10-15 mins or until evenly cooked and browned.

Ha ha, finally found this recipe!! :j Would really like to give these a try but a couple of questions for Niandra or anyone else who might know.

When it says use a food processor to blend, can I just use a stick blender instead as I don't have a FP??

Also, can they be eaten cold?? I was thinking I could pre-cook & take them on a picnic.

    Thank you :D

Off to make the 1/2 syn roulade now, hope it's not too fiddly as I have major PMT clumsiness-itis :o
  • Afternoon everyone :)

It's my weigh in day today and I'm hoping I've lost something- I've stayed pretty much on plan and I worked hard at the gym too.

Today I'm at my mom's looking after my little brother - so I'm relying on her shopping habits for my lunch. I just checked syns online for a cream of tomato soup and it's 8.5 syns! I would normally view that as something quite healthy!

I brought a packet of supanoodles with me in case of emergency, so I'll have those with a fruit salad for afters to munch on.

I'll post my full diary later
