mine is I am at target and dont want to lose any more, so sort of broadly stick to it then add a load of biscuits down my gullet to even it out, sadly though, I seem to be putting weight on, but then I would wouldnt I.
Highly annoying!!!
Today however has not been too bad. I have used pretty much all my syns or today as I had chicken curry at the chinese and half a pack of WW cheese curls. Just have to try not to have anything else
Have got a steak for tea with mushrooms salad and some sort of potato but I am so full from lunch I might not bother with potatoes, and just have extra veg.
Blueberries must be eaten today as they are going off, so thats a good pudding for later instead of biscuits:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Congratulations for getting to target!:T I've heard people at target say that it's harder to stay at target than it was to lose all that weight in the first place - so your definitely not alone in struggling!
I went to Monkey World yesterday which is always a struggle as far as the Plan is concerned as we get on the coach at 8 am and got off it at 9:30 pm! I went up to 18.5 syns yesterday; but had saved 3.5 syns from Saturday; so have 5 syns to try and find from the next few days. My legs are killing me today; so I'm hoping all the walking up and down Monkey World yesterday will help with the body magic!
I'm going to have some scan bran cake about 9 pm; as I always seem to get hungry about that time and that will take me to 10.5 syns today.0 -

Things that don't make sense to me:
:(You can mash & eat potatoes but not fruit
:(You can make carrot or tomato soup, but not a fruit smoothie, essentially a fruit soup.
:(Tomatoes are fruits and you can eat them canned or use passata (essentially tomato juice) but you can't do the same with other fruit. The passata vs tomato paste thing doesn't make sense to me either.
But, it works, so I bow to the greater power of Mrs Slimming World. Boy, it's been good to give myself a weekend off though
Right - sit up straight at the back there..........:rotfl:
1: Mashed potatoes are usually the basis of a filling meal whereas mashed fruit slips down without really being noticed.
2: Carrot/tomato soup is usually an accompaniment to a meal (oe even a meal in itself) which, when taken with a main course would keep you full for hours.....not so a smoothie which is usually drunk between meals as a tasty treat.
3: Passata is just crushed tomatoes with their juice whereas puree is concentrated. Passata makes a quick and easy pasta sauce with the addition of chopped onions, mushrooms and garlic, you can't really do much with puree, it's more for it's flavour isn't it?
Hope that helps a little, though I have to add that I still don't understand all the little quirks, but have learned that they do work, so just trust the plans.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Consultant:
ON this note I thought of one today
Carrot and Orange soup made with carrots, stock and a few tablespoons of the Orange juice
Do I have to syn the OJ in this meal? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Well chaps/chapesses, apparently my scales are naff, as they say I lost nothing but club scales say I lost 3.5 llbs
. Sad thing is, because I thought it wasn't working, I wasn't as careful over the last couple of days
. Just hope I haven't sabotaged next week.

Hello g&b :hello: Fancy seeing you here!!Daisy's on here as well, infact it was her that spurred me on to join.
I do go to class & I do stay, I like the cameraderie & you do get some brilliant hints & tips to help you along.
Confession time - I put on half a pound this week - I'm actually relieved about that because I thought it would be more like 2lbs (I did a sneaky weigh on my bathroom scales & that's what it was looking like). I'm feeling very motivated now I'm back off my hols & aiming for a good loss next week.0 -
Well, I still can't get my head or stomach round having breakfast. I know Dizzy will hate me for it but I just can't manage it. I'm sure being sick isn't a good way to start the day! I'm sure I'll sort it some day but right now I'm having problems.
So breakfast today was nothing. Lunch was a banana and a bit of quiche (bad Screamer) and tea is roast chicken dinner. Got loads of veggies as is normal but I'm so bored with fruit I'm seriously thinking of jacking the whole thing in. In 3 weeks I haven't lost a bean which I assume is because I'm not eating enough but I honestly cannot eat more than I am now. I'm trying really hard but a lot of the stuff I munch on just comes straight back up again.
I'm exercising loads too, and drinking loads of water. Last summer I was really active and was only a size 6-8 (didn't look well but had tons of energy) so have been trying to go for a lot of walks and am doing 15km a day on the exercise bike. Haven't had takeaway this weekend, only drink I've had is diet coke but now I'm up against a new challenge...stopping smoking. I have got to do it because of having my teeth out next month. So, if the diet goes awry, now you all know why!
Sorry for the moan ladies, just my confidence is quite low. I didn't think SW would involve eating so much food. If I'd have known beforehand I don't think I'd have signed up. :-(Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
