Hey guys,
Fairies came to mine this weekend - Friday was good - chinese - al within limits!
Saturday during day was fine, but Sat night was out with mates - had a surf turf n cluck (on red day) and switched chips for jackets & peas for beans but the surf bit was 5 pieces of scampi - no idea how many syns that is! Then the fairies 'forced' me to have a dessert - but not just a little dessert - the second biggest dessert on the menu - and they shoved the lot down my neck!
Then Sunday was going well until i went shopping & Mr M's cheese straws were whoopsied - me and OH had one each!
Then i made a lovely lasange with extra veg - gorgeous - and free!
But when OH went to bed the fairies took most of the chocolate that was in the fridge and again shoved it my mouth! - I had to swallow it!
Then to top it off as a payment for the great taxi service i offer - my brother brought me a McFlurry home from work! I had to eat it or i would have hurt his feelings!
So.... Fingers crossed for WI tonight - i will be going to the gym afterwards aswell to try and help!0 -
I meant to reply to this earlier.....but its taken me this long to stop laughing
Aint mums great lmao.
cant you freeze some of your f**king pineapple so you dont have to live on it morning noon and nightxx
I was going to suggest freezing it too. Don't we need a "giggle" button as well as "thanks" and "quote"? I tend to press "thanks" meaning "thanks for laugh" many a time :rotfl:
I'm still in "relaxed" mode at the moment, but it is quite hard to eat rubbish when you've (I've) discovered you can once again fit into size 12 trousers, oh bliss. It would be such a shame to jeopardise that now.
I've decided that when I want to be naughty I will eat a pickled or hard boiled egg and a bag of Velvet Crunch or the Sainos version. I'm wondering about buying some juniper berries and squishing them a bit then adding them to sugar-free tonic and having a free pretend G&T.:D:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Hadn't thought to freeze the pineapple, didn't realise it could be frozen. Am eating it at the moment but its leaving a very bitter taste behind. Had it with ff fromage + cinnamon but even that didn't mask the bitterness. Gonna try more sweetner on it later, am determined to eat the prepared ones as quick as possible :rotfl:.
Re the toilet probs, has anyone tried eating beetroot [the one you cook yourself]? It goes through me like a dose of salts, bit of a worry as 'everythings' red  [tmi sorry]. Good for those 'bunged up' days :rotfl:.

I'm glad it's not just me! I'm in good company!:D
I think it's the fact that I know I'm going to Disneyland Paris in just over 4 weeks' for our honeymoon. I've decided I'm going to enjoy what I want to eat whilst away and worry about losing it when I get back. Thing is I want my holiday to start now; so am struggling to keep focused!:(
I think there is a bit of the boredom factor setting in too; which is why I got myself back on this forum as when I'm on here all the ideas and inspiration always help me to stay on track. Thanks guys!
What do you think the reason is for you struggling with the Plan??0
