    just wanted to report on my 1st week of slimming world.
    the week dident really start of to great, as i found it very hard getting in the swing of it. and the night before, i propper pigged out on fish and chips:eek:, the weekend i ate silly amounts of pizza hut stuffed crust pizza,:eek: sunday had a prepacked sarnie:eek: and jaffacakes,:eek: and had a kitkat:eek: on the monday. but even after all that, i managed to loose 2.5lbs!! (i stuck to the diet like glue the rest of the week):o

    this weekend, i have had on average 10 syns per day except today, when another kitkat jumped in to my mouth (i regret it now):mad:

    how many syns am i supposed to be eating per day? or is it just between 5-15? my consultant never really explained that.

    but well done to all that has lost.:T

    well done on the loss, you can have any amount of syns between 5-15 or all 15 if you want.
    Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Evening all :)

    I have eventually written a meal plan for the next few days. I was going to try all week but I've just done to Wednesday to start with. I'll then have a look at what's in the cupboards and freezer and plan for a few more days. I need to use up some of what is in and not spend too much more as I'm getting close to the end of my grocery budget.

    So todays meals were:
    Sunday - Extra Easy
    Drinks – Milk (HEA), Coffee, Diet Coke, Peach tea (0.5)
    Brunch – Couscous fritters, baked beans, banana
    Mid afternoon snack – Pineapple and yoghurt (2)
    Dinner – Chicken, carrots, potatoes
    Supper – 2 Alpen light (HEB), Pineapple, strawberries, raspberries and yoghurt
    Total of 1 A and 1 B plus 2.5 syns

    I also took my son out for a walk at 5 o'clock. Didn't go too far as dark clouds were gathering, but at least that's more exercise than I did yesterday :T

    Tomorrow's meals are:
    Monday - Red
    Drinks – Milk (HEA), Coffee, Diet Coke, Water
    Breakfast – Bacon, Egg, Tomatoes
    Mid morning snack – 2 Alpen light (HEB), Banana, Grapes
    Lunch – Chicken salad, HM coleslaw, Yoghurt
    Mid afternoon snack - Blue cheese dip (HEA), celery, carrots, peppers
    Dinner – Stewing steak, potatoes (HEB), mixed veg
    Supper – Pineapple, strawberries, raspberries and yoghurt (2), Crisps (6)
    All A’s and B’s plus 8 syns. Should be enough :rotfl:!

    Good morning everyone.

    I was good yesterday no naughties. I burned 200 calories on the bike too. I had a sneaky peek on the scales today and it is still at 13.03 so 0.5lb loss at the moment... still another 3 whole days till Thurs am WI though.

    Today (Green)
    B - 2 toast (B) eggs (F) tomatoes (F) and mushrooms (F)
    L - Couscous Salad (F) Ham (B)
    D - Veggie Curry/Chilli and rice (F)
    Snx - Coffee Frappe (A)

    Drinks - 2 litres of water, Black coffee with splenda.

    Exercise - 3 x 5 mins on the bike fast = 300 cals (so the machine tells me)

    So an A choice still to use plus some syns

    Morning everyone. I'm soooo shattered! I can't wait till Sunday so I can have a lie in! I've had a few more syns than I would like so far this week (although the highest day was Saturday at 10.5) so I'd like to keep them a bit lower for the next few days up to WI on Wednesday. OH's Mum bought me a lovely dress yesterday for a wedding I'm going to in a few weeks. It fits just right but I'd be quite happy to lose a pound or two so I feel more confident in it!

    Today's menu is EE:

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B) and a banana
    Lunch - salad, 2 boiled eggs, couscous, fatfree dressing, salad cream (1), yogurt, mixed berries.
    Tea - pork chop, stuffing (2 syns? - need to check), veg, potatoes, gravy (2), pineapple for pudding.
    Snacks - strawberries, plums, nectarines.

    Day 2 of fish week for me...

    Righty ho -my RED meal plan for today is:-
    • 2 eggs -scrambled
    • red pepper
    • tomato
    • smoked salmon
    • melon
    • Fish cakes heA+(0.5)
    • carrots
    • cauli
    • broccoli
    • SF jelly (1)
    • chermoula fish
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5) -stir-fried:-
    • onions
    • mushrooms
    • carrots
    • red/yellow pepper
    • broccoli
    • cauli
    • sf jelly (1)
    • 50g vanilla quark(1)
    • 250ml semi (A)X2
    • 2tsp camp (1)
    • 1 kellogs fibre plus (B)
    Now -that will use my A+Bs -but only 5 syns... so I will look at adding to them as I go....
    I have just had my smoked salmon scramble and heck it was filling..
    Right Im off - a few more mins to let brekkie settle and then I will get on the wii.

    Hello all :wave:

    A terrible weekend SW world wise as I was away from home at the parents, lots of bad eating, too ashamed to say.

    AAAnyway back on it properly today and my monday morning WI, bringing me in at 9stone 1. I lost 2 lbs last week, even though there was lots of bad food, still broadly stuck to it for the 5 days.

    Meal plan today will be:

    Brek, Alpen lite & muller
    Snack, straws & a muller
    Lunch - either SW potato cakes and beans or veggie chilli from the freezer and taco shell ( 2)
    Dinner is roast chicken breast, salad, roasted new pots and carrots from the garden
    Snack Alpen lite 2
    Milk in tea for HEB

    Extra syns will be snack a jacks ( a box of 10 for a £1 in asda- bargain!!) and pineapple which I need to eat before it goes off :D

    Although I dont seem to be weighing a lot I do have a big of a jelly belly still and my bums still a bit on the large side :D I still have some to lose :)

    Hi, starting SW today again after an unsuccessful attempt at Weight Watchers. I have about 3.5 stones to lose. I'm not joining a class as I'm on a tight budget at the moment, but I have all the books from a previous (successful) stint at SW. I find it really useful to write down what I am eating so will make it part of my routine to do this every day! Most days will be Green as I eat fish, but no other meat. Here goes for day 1:

    Breakfast: 42g Crunchy Bran (HEB 1); Muller Light (Free); Strawberries (Free)
    Lunch: 4 Ryvita Dark Rye (HEB2); VLF Cottage Cheese (Free); Mixed Salad (Free)
    Dinner: Baked Potato (Free); Batchelors Pasta n Sauce (Free); Mixed Veg (Free)

    Snacks: Apple, banana, Slim a soup (spicy cajun vegetable) 2.5 syns, milk for tea (HEA1)

    Hi:)
    Im Kath, Ive been watching from the sidelines for the last couple of weeks and wondered if I could join in with you guys ? :beer: I rejoined my local SW group after a 6 month break (and a 2stone gain :o:mad:) following a long spell in hospital after brain surgery which (hence the name) has left me with balance probs + vertigo and Im only just getting out again on my crutches (tho I look and feel like ive had ten pints when im walking most of the time lol)
    Anyway Ive had a pretty good start with a fab 10 1/2 off in the first week :j:j and 15 and a half in 5 weeks. But Im struggling this week as my stomachs a bit off, due to the constant vomiting from the vertigo in the early days and treatment I had Ive done some damage to the oesophogus (excuse the typos...brain fog) and im struggling with solid food at the mo....will it slow my loss down if I eat too many yogurts? Its the one thing that doesnt seem to hurt much or take ages to eat

    Hmmm, I was just wondering what to have for breakfast and I just happen to have eggs and smoked salmon in. Think I'll have it with one slice of toast (I will either count it as 3 syns, or as 1/2 HEB and have a couple of ryvita later as other 1/2 of HEB... I only have 7 syns to use today so may need them..)
