Have weighed it up and decided I will syn it at 3.5
So then I can have my HEB which is the usual of 2 alpen lites
I really need to get my thinking cap on in terms of what I cant have for breakfast on plan out of the house that is fairly cheap. Sadly no caffs to be found otherwise I would have gone for the eggs/beans/mushroom, however would have had to syn oil.
Is there anything free food one can have for breakfast out and about? ( not fruit obviously, something else) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Cant you make sure youve had breakfast before you go and have a banana and an alpen light in your bag then your not tempted into the caffs that sell what you cant have?
I find that on the mornings that I just have fruit and yog....and miss my weetabix out - Im hungry again well before lunchtime too, maybe you need to have something cereal based if your going walkabout to keep you going?
If you do end up in a caff could you ask for poached egg beans and toms maybe?0 -
Usually i have eaten the alpen lites well before hunger strikes.
I really should have had the SW "fry up" that I had in the fridge of eggs, beans, mushrooms, bacon before I left, but I had a MRIscan at 9 this morning and woke up at 7.30 and had to leggit.
Not the end of the world here, I will have plenty of free food today, I really want to stick toplan today ( for once) and swing back on board fully in the morning as I have a fridge full of yummy stuff from shopping yesterday.
Ho hum:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Evening all.
Back from lunch with the family and did quite well. I had lean pork, chicken, 3 boiled potatoes, loads of veg, 1 small yorkshire and gravy - it was the nicest meal I've eaten in ages...probably down to the gravy
Congratulations to Mrs M for another good loss and to anyone else who weighs in today. I'm cooking some pork meatballs and the buffalo chicken tonight ready for tomorrow and Tuesday. I'm back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks leave, so won't have time to cook much this week. If I get prepared today I have no excuse for eating badly during the week
Catch you soon, K xx:xmastree:Merry Christmas0 -

I have these recipes for pancakes if anyone is interested:-
Syn Free Pancakes
1 Egg per pancake
2-3 Teaspoons sweetener (depending on own taste)
3-4 Drops of vanilla essence
First separate the white from the yolk and put into separate bowls, Whisk the egg white until fluffy and add the sweetener, In the other bowl add the vanilla essence then fold the yolk into the egg white
Heat a frying pan with Frylight, add the mix and spread as you would a normal pancake after a few minutes flip over - but do be careful they are much more delicate than a regular pancake.
Serve with fresh blueberries on the top with a big dollop of sweetened 0% Total Greek yoghurt.
Chocolate Cinnamon pancakes (makes 3 or 4 pancakes)
3 eggs
1 sachet choc Options
2 drops vanilla essence
Cinnamon powder
2 – 3 teaspoons sweetener
Fry light
Fromage frais/yogurt and cinnamon for dusting
Separate egg yolk from the whites and whisk the whites until fluffy and add the sweetener.
Mix egg yolks with Options, 2 drops vanilla essence and cinnamon to taste.
Gently mix in the egg white. It will be a bit watery but have fluffy bubbles on the top, this is ok
Using a small omelette pan, spray with Frylight and pour a ladle of the mixture in, wait until it sets enough to flipover and cook the other side.
Serve with natural fat free yogurt or fromage frais and dust with cinnamon.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Am considering joining SW and wondered if there was a 'conveinience meal' plan or something similar via batch cooking as I am going to be a solo slimmer
Thanks for the advice.
Hello Crisp, I too am a solo slimmer. If you are a solo cooker (chef?) now just carry on as you were doing, but without fat and oil. As far as I know Slimming World don't produce any advice on the subject, you just do as you would in real life. I tend to cook a chicken, joint, or casserole on Sunday but do different vegetables and carbohydrates each day during the week so each meal is different.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
