Hi gang
just a quick one - went into town this morning and was totally starving after my fruit & yog breakfast and had a
bacon and scrambled egg sandwich, but only ate one of the slices of the bread. It was granary, Do you think this i need to syn this or can I have this as HEB
Im doing EE todayWith a lovely joint of beef and loads of veg for a lovely sunday dinner yum!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

they do a student budget menu (i posted it a few pages back for Lynzpower I think?) it costs £32 for everthing you need for the week-at tesco with some things that will be left over for he following week
but there are also loads of other things you can batch cook for the plan. I regularly do syn free spag bols, chillis, goulash, curry all in big amounts for the freezer so I can just heat up as needed
Thanks I have had a look back but I can't see it sorry
I have been reading through some posts though and there seems an awful lot to have to eat in one day, I am not much of an eater (B is usualy yoghurty lowcholesterol drink & fruit, L sarndwich /roll / wrap & salad with juice and my main meal of the day is dinner). I have managed to train myself not to snack between meals and if I need extra its usualy fruit, raw veg or salad and an evening snack consists of 0% fat Greek yoghurt OR low fat fromage frais (both sometimes mixed up with a teaspoon of sweetner or milkshake powder) with fruit in a small glass Although once a week I allow myself a treat like a small chocolate bar or a milkshake and a few biscuits to dunk.
Im also concerned about the SYNs thing which seems very complicated. I was hoping for a no fuss 'diet'.
Sorry if I am dithering I really need to be certain its the right one for me before I commt as its such a lot of money to join. I have saved up to pay but want to make sure I dont end up wasting it by failing
Thanks again.Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

So you could always find out where the class is and pop along and see for yourselfthe syns is not really complicated....its just the little things that you can add to your daily 'good food' it may be a treat such as choccy or items that you use in cooking such as butter on your toast.
Hope this has helped a bit0 -

SIGH!
I know  bummer.....especially when a slice has prob cost 7 syn - and wholemeal is free :mad::mad: Ive done the same thing myself when ive been delayed at hosp, soooooo annoying!!!!
Never mind at least you have the lush sounding roast dinner to look forward to0 -
Ive managed to keep those pesky fairies at bay, thankfully.
have given up on the EE plan as my loss slowed down to next to nothing. Have done 4 days red & 1 day green. Struggling to use up my A& B's but trying my hardest. Have been having some bread to make sandwiches, not made me feel too bad tho.
How do you lot plan meals, i find it so hard to do that. I Seem to be busy then realise its meal time & grab whats in the fridge.
Good luck to all this week with weigh in0 -
Lynz....although it's not officially a HEB if it was me I'd be counting it as my HEB as a one off
I'd just try to avoid doing it more than once in a blue moon!!!
I've been at work this morning (day 7 of 12 6 am starts:eek:) and then came home, had brekkie (4 hours after I got up...can you call that brekkie?!) then had an hour and a half in the garden doing some rather heavy digging. I'm exhausted now! I've just had my lunch and I'm going to spend the afternoon catching up on some TV programmes I've recorded. I'm having a green day today, here's the plan:
Brekkie - rice, fromage frais, lemon curd (1), banana
Lunch - small jacket potato, 2 flat mushrooms stuffed with onions, garlic, herbs, quark, 1 tiny slice of salami (2) and all topped with cheese (HEA)
Tea - pork (HEB), mash, veggies, gravy (3)
I'll have a fibre plus bar as my other HEB for a snack and my other hEA will be milk in my tea.
Have a good sunday everyone.0 -
