    Hello everyone,

Well I finally made it to the sausage shop in Trimley to get my slimming sausages (half syn for 2)....bought 8 fresh for tonights dinner (not just for me I'd like to point out although I really could've!) and 20 frozen! Also got some half syn burgers which if they are anything like the sausages, are going to be absolutely delish. Anyway, quick low syn slow cooker recipe:

Fry sausages in fry light for 5 mins till nicely browned but not actually cooked. Take out and set aside, then fry 4 rashers of bacon (all fat cut off, 2 finely chopped onions and a clove of garlic in the pan till nicely browned too. Meanwhile, peel 4 baking potatoes and cut into thin slices. Spray the slow cooker with fry light. Put half the potatoes in the bottom in a thin layer, top with the onion, bacon, garlic mixture, top with rest of potatoes and pour over half a pint of vegetable stock (I used a generous teaspoon of Vecon dissolved in half a pint of boileing water), top with the sausages. Replace lid and cook on high for 3 hours (until potatoes are soft). I served this with cabbage. Recipe suggested braised cabbage but I didn't know what this was so just had boiled but was lovely with the bacon, onion, garlic gravy stuff poured over it. Whole dish was only half a syn (by having 2 sausages) and SO DID NOT TASTE LIKE A SLIMMING DISH.....nom nom nom!

On minimins some do a challenge to add in as much super free and super speed as possible!

Might be worth having a gander to see what they do.

    Hotel looks lovely btw!

OK last night, wasnt tooooo bad. I had the nachos and it wasnt a big portion but I gave at least 1/2 away :A Then I had the chicken in coconut milk curry thing with rice and green beans and no pud. After caiparinhas (?!!!)I went for the spirit &DC option.

And no chips on the way home ;)

100% back on it today, am going to take the scales back and swap them, and go to the market and buy yet more veg and see what Mr Morrisons has in stock along with the local butchers as I need bargains!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
