LMAO I get exactly the same reaction Off my OH.....what is it with blokes and mushy pea curry  :rotfl:

Id say 5 syn is pretty damn lovely sounding, pataks are pretty lush anyway.

make the mushy pea curry but stir in a bit of the pataks paste as well to give it a different flavour, 5 syns between three of you isn't much (or spoon out your helping, then stir the pataks into theirs and cook a bit longer :) )
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Awww :( thats a bummer when you go with a good feeling- especially when youve been a saint, but it very prob is to do with the water....The week when I only lost 1/2 I had a real struggly week fluid wise.....I had 3 hospital appointments 1 in wakefield an 2 in leeds both are a fair old trek for me from here so it messed up my drinking - and it showed on WI day :o

The good thing is tho - if you stay a good girl this week, and up the fluids then you're surely due a fabby loss next time ;) xx

I hope so, I'm so good at dishing out advice 'stick with it'..... ' It's a long game plan, a small gain won't make much difference'....................'Think of how well you've done already' etc. etc. I'm not so good at listening to my own advice, lol. Unfortunately if I have a blip those darned fairies start circling me and get ready to attack.......must stay strong.!

    Hey guys,

Haven't posted this week - been trying to catch up on everything else!

STS this week - but it was my 2nd hen do (with family members) which didn't involve alcohol but did involve scampi, chips and chocolate fudge cake!

On a good point - i reckon i have lost 10 inches from my waist since i started and 27kg (4st 4lbs) according to my doctor!

Think i may have lost the extra inch i need for my wedding dress to fit (this time in 2 weeks i will be a married woman!)

Well done everyone - stick with it (or not as my case will be! - dinner with friends which will involve fairly good main meal - but i always get tempted with dessert!)

Flutterby - These drinks are all free, but I think the Tesco ones do have aspartame. I don't like it either and when I looked into supermarket own range drinks, I think Sainsbury's were the only ones who use sucralose instead. This is in their coke etc as well as flavoured waters, so I try to stock up there as even diet coke and pepsi use aspartame.

Thanks for replying Inazuma. The Tesco drinks have Sucralose not aspartame in it so that's great news that they are free :D.

    Afternoon all

My god I have been so well behaved today :D. I woke up not feeling great and have had the headache from hell all day :(. It was my work kids last day so they get to choose what they wanted to do. They chose to go to Taybarns which is an all you can eat restaurant with loads of different types of food! However I was positively angelic and only ate free food, apart from a tiny bit of coleslaw, and there may have been the odd syn in the tomato sauce on the pasta. I'm so proud of myself as I could have quite easily said 'sod it' and had pizza, chips, and unlimited deserts!

    Green day:

B - honey nut shreddies (HEB) and skimmed milk (HEA)
L - salad, jacket potato, beans, pasta, coleslaw (approx 4syns - desertspoon), tomato pasta sauce (?1syns maybe as only had a desertspoon full), boiled rice, vegetables, fruit salad.
D - HM SF veggie chilli (mixed beans, tinned toms, onions, garlic, peppers, quorn mince, chilli), rice, cheese (HEA and HEB), sour cream (2.5syns)
Snacks - apple, half a banana, one square of caramel choc (2.5syns), HB egg, 2 quorn sausages - cold, much yummier cold!, skinny cow ice cream (4.5syns)
Drinks - coffee, water, NAS squash, fizzy water

    Total syns = 14.5

I've now locked myself in the office so as to stay away from the kitchen. (Don't think they saw me sneak in here)

The meals look fine though I'm not sure that you're having a third of a plate as superfree foods with each meal. If you are, that's fine, but it is the core of the plan really and if you slip up with it you won't lose weight very well.

Oh dear, I thought I was doing well and had stayed on programme for 3 whole days. Then read this.... Somehow had overlooked the need to eat third of a plate as superfree foods on EE

Right back to re read the SW books again.
