Morning ladies, WI tonight and *week is due today so with that and my holiday I doubt it'll be amazingly good news, I don't mind though as my holiday was lovely and a small gain doesn't matter! I'm EE today:

Brekkie - porridge (heb) made with water and a small splash of milk (2), banana
Lunch - small jacket potato, tinned mackeral, cheese (HEA), tomatoes, cucumber, fruit jelly (?), yogurt, lemon curd (1)
Tea - spag bol and salad, salad cream (2)
    Snacks - nectarine, plum.

Oh and I've just eaten a small fairy cake that my work mate had made, which will no doubt take me to my syn limit!!

hello ladies. not really feeling myself today, a bit sicky and slightly out of sorts. hope i'm not coming down with something.

    green day so far;
    b - muller, 2 satsumas
l - just having a small onion soup for work, I guess this is 6 syns taking into account any oil used. i've also got a tin of spaghetti hoops
d - pasta quiche and salad

HEA - s/s milk HEB - maybe a hifi at group tonight

WI tonight. i've tried hard to fix my wrongdoings of the weekend but i won't be too disappointed if i maintain or there is a small gain - i'll know better for this week. those fairies aren't going to get me again!

Any chance you can post the recipe? I've never made yorkshires before and would love to learn, especially if they are SW friendly!

    x
    Nearly forgot this earlier -sorry...

    I do :-
    • 50g plain flour - (9 syns)
    • 1/2tsp salt
    • 1tsp english mustard powder
    • 1 egg
    • 100ml milk -I use semi from my allowance ;)
just throw the dry ingredients into a jug, add the egg and most of the milk and whisk -just enough to make sure there are no lumps -add the rest of the milk if needed -to make a thick batter -I then leave in the fridge all day -if you need to let it down (to double cream consistancy) -add a drop of ice cold water...

Now I make mine in the remoska -and it makes a nice 8" pudding -but I reckon you would get quite a few individual ones out of it :D
with the remoska I just add 1/4tsp oil and rub all over before switching on and heating up and then adding the batter...
I cut it in half for me and hubby -so I call it 5 syns each -but if you are using spray oil its 4.5syns for 1/2 -but when I do that on a dinner I don't need potatoes too so I can save my HeB for something else :T
Hope you like it -they aome out nice and light....

ooooh whilst Im here -and on the shopping front -my mum was just telling me that from Mon-Wed NEXT week LIDL are doing a 24 tin case of Branston baked beans for £6 :j-hope it helps those on green/EE ... nice and economical (and I think they are much nicer than Heinz )

  • Not posted this before so hope its right but my day is as follows:

    • Breakfast - Porridge (heb) made with water
    • Lunch - Leftover chicken tikka with rice and salad (the sauce is literally blended veg and spice so hoping that adds to my superfree)
    • Dinner - Chilli with rice and salad
    • Snacks - 50g popcorn (10 syns), muller light, peach
    HEA - Milk in tea
