  • I don't know if this helps anyone who has chocolate cravings and few syns left. I find it doesn't really matter whether I have a full bar of chocolate or a smaller piece the feeling is still the same at the end of it ie I'd still like some more. So as long as I can accept this I can quite happily have a small piece of chocolate or just one biscuit instead of half the packet.

On the other hand this might just make me sound like a smug little goody two shoes, :o but I don't mean it to, it's just one of my strategies.

If I could apply the strategy to my beer craving when I'm out I'd be:j

:mad: flippin fairies came again last night :mad:

Ate a whole pack of choc crispies, 3 slices of white toast, crisps & goodness knows what else :(

Struggling to keep faries at bay today. Not had my 1/3 superfree & still dont seem to be loosing weight with EE. I like it better than green/red as it seems more normal.

Just dont know what to do.............

    Hi marymilkmaid,

I think you need to take a look at your signature at the bottom of your posts, with all your wonderful losses on there and remember how good it felt when you had each of them to try and get yourself back into the right frame of mind. I lost a lot of weight a lot of years ago and it was puttign on a bit of weight and then thinking well what the hell that resulted in me creeping back up to what I am now (more than when I even started it that time), so be proud of what you have achieved, I think it is a wonderful achievement and try to think positively towards that next minus.

You are a woman with tremendous will power! I don't have any biscuits, chocolate, crisps etc in the house at the moment because I know I can't just eat one biscuit.

To be honest at the moment I'm not having any syns at all as I think I need to see how ridiculous it is that I can't just have a square of chocolate, it has to be the bar, before I start again. I thought about baking the soft choccy cookies today but I know the batch will just go!

Having said that I just ate a spoonful of golden syrup as I was craving something sweet! :rotfl:

Had my WI tonight and was really chuffed to have another 5lb weight loss. I've been super good this week and written everything down and stayed within my syn total if averaged out over the week. But I was bloated and today explained it as my * week arrived (does that mean that I would have been even lighter if I hadn't had this visitor today?). I'm feeling slimmer round the waist already (although I have a loooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnng was to go yet) and will hopefully be able to get into some of my old clothes by the time term starts again in 3 weeks. I wrote a meal plean for the week and we stuck to it apart from the impromptu bbq invite on sunday and that definintely helped. I literally only shopped for what was on the list. We ate some yummy things too: tuscan chicken with polenta and green beans; moussaka and chicken pilaf with roast veg. My sister is with us at the moment and can't believe how "normal" the meals are ha ha!

P.S: I dreamed last night that I kept eating Party Rings (the iced biscuits that are at every child's birthday party) and wasn't keeping count and had no idea of the syn value!!! So checked it today...they are 1.5 each so as I had only had one other syn tonight I had 6 with a cup of tea!!!! They were lush. Really sweet!!!

  • I had my first WI this week, and lost 4lb! So pleased with myself :D. The only downside was, out of the 4 new starters, I lost the LEAST! Hopefully I will keep it going this week, but feeling nice and positive, and have just had melon and shredded wheat for brekkie.

Hope your all managing to keep motivated:j
