Hormone tablets I can't remember what they are called. They are similar to the pill but don't provide contraception. I was told there may be weight gain when I went on them but it would level out after a few months but it hasn't. It does fluctuate a lot though.cherub1965 wrote: »do you mind me asking what type? i can honestly vary 6 or 7 pounds within a couple of days if am really sore.its horriblePay off Debts by Christmas 2015 = DEBT FREE!0

Hello everyone, just back from WI and I lost a massive (for me) 2.5 lbs! That means I have lost 2 st since my birthday in January and am only half a pound off my target (due to a blip where either my consultant or me didn't note 7.5 lbs as my target, but 7 lbs). It's been an up and down journey, averaging 1 lb a week loss over 28 weeks which is exactly what SW recommends. I should be milk monitor next week, I am such a good student:A
For the blocked up people, it's probably the last thing you want but have you tried a couple of scan brans lavishly piled with quaaaaark, marmite, salady bits, squishy bits - as long as the piled-on stuff is all free - and, as you struggle to force the scan bran down, drink at least half a litre of water, more if you can. I do this before bed for a couple of days before weigh in and the result the next morning is ahem remarkableTo prove the bran soaks up the water, on those nights I never need to get out for the loo.
There's a recruiting day for consultants a week on Sunday at a nearby town; I might go along and see how much they expect up front and how long the training is. it might be impossible for me as I work full time, but it's something I could bear in mind for when I retire, perhaps.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Munchies: just keep loads of fruit handy and when you find yourself saying "I'm starving" reach for an apple, mandarin, slice of melon, few strawbs .... it's never going to be as good as what you are yearning for but I do honestly think it helps to wean you off. It's been weeks since I've had a chocolate yearning , tbh just looking at how many syns chocolate is scares me! (I wish I hadn't written the "c" word though because now my brain is trying to insinuate pictures of flakes and cadbury caramels in .... damn those bloody fairies - still I have no chocolate in, and am in my jamas
so no chance!)
