No I never went. My sis is a consultant so she sold me some of the stuff. I just get info off her, minimins, and here and the magazine and the SW website. I knew I wouldnt stick at going plus I cant really afford it at the mo. I wouldnt mind starting a group now though to motivate me to maintain. I think I need the help, but would I be able to do this if I dont really have anything to lose? Prob not!
Yes, I thought of going to a different group to see if the consultant would take me on as a maintainer, but lost my nerve, which is why I thought I'd register for the on line programme. They do say it's harder to maintain than it is to actually lose, and that seems to be the case for me, anyway.

Maybe there's a thread for people who are 'there' or maybe you should start one (I will join you in a few weeks!!)

ooh, an opportunity for one of my fave jokes:

what do arithmatic and constipation have in common?

you can work them both out with a pencil!

I forgot to say my Sunday night weigh in showed a further 2lb loss which I was pleased with. I am now 7lb more than I was this time last year, but three stone less than I was the year before :p

Lynz, have you looked into being a consultant then or does it impact on your hand? It has been a few years since we were both very stressed about selling at the same time and on Flylady but I do remember your way with words, etc. I could see you being a very inspiring consultant.

What a lovely thing to say! :D cheers Hex !

I would love to be a consultant actually but I have a turbulent few months ahead of me ( in a good way;) and Im not sure about it. My sister said you have to get club 10 before you would be able to apply to be a consultant, and Im really not sure i can lose 10% further. The extra income is exciting though, definitely something to think about!

If you lost weight as a membr of a group, I'm sure they would love to have you as a Consultant. Your sister would be able to give you the costs involved etc BUT please don't bank on it helping you maintain your weight loss, as I have to say, in my experience it doesn't help at all.

I found (and I know a dozen or more other Cs who say the same) that all the effort you would normally put into helping yourself, seems to go into helping your members instead. I had a steady increase in my weight over about 4 years and it's been a terrific struggle to get beack on plan and back to target.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

can anyone help me please (I have just started SW extra easy, I have my second WI tomorrow, so far iv lost 1.5lb)
Iv just got home from the gym and am starving, iv just eaten half a packet of Ainsley Harriot Moroccan medley cous cous. I tried to work out the syn value online....for half a pack-130g its 9syns. It was such a tiny portion I wanted to double check I was right. I also did a google search and many people claim it only to be half or 1 syn. Am I not using the syn calculator correctly??

    137kcal
    5.4 protein
    25.4 carbs
    1.5 fat

130g per serving, 2 servings in the 100g dried pack

God I hope im making sense!!!

    thanks in advance
