    Tea tonight is
braised steak&onions with carrots, cabbage, fine beans (courtesy his mums allotment) SW roasties maybe a couple of clementines

    Sounds lush that does.

Can I ask how you braise the meat? I usually do mine in the slow cooker with flour and gravy granules, have you found a free way - if so PRAY TELL!!

Sounds like a lovely meal for a rainy day as it is here in the capital :D finally, it has not rained for ages and Im hoping its had a good effect on my plants that are surviving on the roof!

Cant get my head round EE yet BUT I am still trying, have done green for so long (with an occasional red) that it seems so alien to have chicken and noodles together (which is what I had for tea tonight!!

i love the EE,i'm not a great meat eater for red days and on green i dont know when to stop with the pasta etc.

    Hi peeps,

Please help - I am losing the plot a bit with this now, and my weight is creeping up. I have just tried to join on line for a bit of inspiration but it won't have me as I am still within my healthy BMI range although I know it is too big for me. I am just sick of food; sick of eggs, sick of cereal, sick of it all really. Can't think of what to have for breakfast so have biscuits and then I'm off with the fairies...

I got to my magic number just before Christmas, but wasn't able to maintain and since then I have just gradually gained and now I am on the way back to fatness.

Any ideas for getting kick started? I am not really familiar with EE so tend to give it a miss, maybe that is what I should try.

Hi doll sounds like you are really struggling to maintain (/ lose a bit) we need to buddy up luv as I am struggling too :o

Its EE for me most of the time, although I am going to try to do a couple of greens a week for cheapness :o

Do you live alone or do you have family to cook for/with. Do you regularly have leftovers?

Ps thanks for the lidl tip will try to get there tomorrow if poss, 50p for spinach is good i was baulking at 1.65 a bag in my local Mr ts.

    There is. It's here: http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world-recipes/80496-carrot-cake-slimming-world-style.html

Personally all I can taste is the bran. But then I have trouble with chickpea and couscous cakes too.

Does anyone have a yummy recipe for low syn lemon meringue pie? I've tried the one with quark and splenda/eggs meringue but didn't like it - tasted of curdled cheese and sweetener. Are there any other recipes? I'm sure you should be able to do something with Hartleys no sugar lemon and lime jelly, but I can't think what!
