I'm sorry, I can't remember who it was that said they'd had trouble with the chicken kievs and the quark not melting.
My smugness was short lived as after last times delicious result, and cooking it the same way today, I too ended up with a claggy mess. eeeuurrgghh!!! Had to have a meringue for my pud to get rid of the taste!

Still no idea on the siys for that vegi chow mein and mushroom foo yung but I have 6 and a half point left for today so I'm going to pretend that's what they would be.

    That looks great!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Evening all

Dizzy -glad things are better in the "loo" department :rotfl:

On the kiev front -what I did was use 2tbs fat free fromage frais, 1 grated clove garlic, salt n pepper bashed together and then spread inside the pocket of 2 chicken breasts, then used 24g Low fat cheddar (1/2 heA) and wedged it in in 1 piece...wrapped and pinned with cocktail sticks and coated as normal -once sealed I popped each one into its own ovenproof dish and baked (well I had paid for the cheese and if it leaked it was still mine :rotfl:)
They were lovely and are on the menu to be done again...

Lunch: Roast Chicken, green beans, carrots, BN squash, sprouts, gravy (2 syns) followed by ff yogurt, 2 x apricots

Tea: 3 x pagan krisprolls (2nd HEB) cottage cheese, cherry tomatoes, ham, spring onions. Pkt quavers (5 syns)

It was ME, Dawn - I don't feel so alone now! :D

That quark with stem ginger & honey sounds like my kind of thing for the occasional sweet fix, I guess you just chop the ginger and add the honey and bash it all up? Will give it a go.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Flutterby, just wanted to say hi, and I am a youth worker too, so sympathise with trying to eat sensibly and working such hectic and dodgy hours. I do remember you from this thread ages ago, and I am still chugging along, lose a bit, gain a bit.

Lo_bush, I do red days. I am sw old school and prefer red to green, so always on the lookout for suggestions.
