Thought I'd post my Red days food Diary, is it just me or does hardly anyone on here do red, btw?
I do red just not posted much this week, problems with a 4year old and being tired but i have been catching up daily.
I used to go green all the time many years ago but this time round I have done red and enjoying it. I find it hard on EE I like 2 xHA & HB. Also I've seen how well MrsM has done on red. As you can see from sig I'm more than when I started due to tablets but I have been good for 2 weeks so fingers crossed for WI on thurs.

    Hi everyone,
Well after a busy weekend of two days out at a local air show with a 50th birthday party thrown in for good measure, I have managed to keep my weekly syn count to 101. However as 85 of these were incurred during the weekend I am not too confident for my WI tomorrow. If I can maintain I think I would be happy. :)

    Hello all,

Had an impromptu invite to a bbq today so ended up eating 2 sausages with loads of salad as that's all they were serving, a big glass of rose wine, 7 olives and soem sugar free jelly. I've worked it all out to be 18.5 syns as hadn't had any others during the day so a bit over. Got home and wrote it all on my sheet to only find out I'd only had one HEA (I'm on red), so had some milk and 2 hi-fi bars. My question is is it ok to have more than one hi-fi bars in a day to fill up the 2 HEBs?

    THanks,

    Nuninge

    Morning Ladies.

Lots to catch up on. Hello to the newbies too :hello:

I had a good day yesterday foodwise, as I ate loads and more fruit than I usually do too which I'm pleased about - I find it difficult to eat fruit as I just never really fancy it. However using pointers from this thread and some experiments I made a lovely 'fake' cream for my fruit salad.. which helped it go down a treat (I had 2 bowls). 0% greek yog, sweetner and vanilla flavouring (not essence) all mixed up. It tasted lovely. :T

This morning I have made a big hash brown :j. It tasted really lovely too, I could have been a bit crisper though so some tweeking in the cooking for next time. I wanted to find an alternative to bread for my breakfast as I like a savoury brekkie with some carby item - any other suggestions would be welcome :D

    B - h/m hashbrown (F) beans (F) mushrooms (F)
    L - Ham salad (F) SW wedges (F)
Mid aft - fruit salad & fake cream (F)
    D - Lasagne (A) (2) salad (F)
Eve - fruit salad & fake cream (F)

    Exercise - 2 x 10 mins bike. 1hr out walking.

Today is going to be a good day for us all.... there are no fairies in sight.

Damn right. I have definately excluded them from here.

AN EE day for me as ever
    MIlk HEA- Alpen lights HEB

Have started the day with a huge bowl of banana and pineapple so have started "right."
    Just had an alpen light

Potato cakes are not bad as a savoury breakfast item. I like hash browns though. Rosti also quite good and you can add extra shredded veg ( carrot is good, as is parsnip) Might make this for later actually :D
I am out and about today so will take a tupperware of CC salad :D and lots of water :)
Dinner will be chicken legs covered in Cajun spice and roasted along with salad & probs sweet potato wedges and maybe a HM coleslaw.

Todays the fairies can **** right off :) they are not welcome here at all :)

    My scales are definitely broken!
WI this morning STS - which given that I can be an angel all week and put on was better than it could have been I guess.
But I felt I still had (ahem) more to give so held off eating/drinking anything for a while and had a quick trip to the loo. So how can a 'satisfactory visit' lead to a gain on the scales of a pound? Thought it must be because I had different trousers on so stripped off - still the same (i.e. 1 pound gain). weighed clothes seprately - half a pound.
    So there you go
Have decided to buy some new scales when I can find the funds and take a break from keeping to the scheme strictly - and come back to it in September. Will still try and keep to it as much as I can in the meantime to minimise the damage.
